Defeating Phosm Stonebend with a level 38 Guardian...How?

<DIV>I am a 38th level Guardian and all of my skills are at Adept 1 or higher. Most all of my gear is orange or yellow. I use Gnoll Masters Rage and my buffs, but this guys special attacks still  hit me for 418..421..418..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please tell me, as a mid to high 30's Guardian..How do you beat him? Yea, I have trouble killing him but its possible. My 33 guardian can get to the Champion but him nuking me for 197, DoTs for 32 etc knocks my 3k hp down super fast =/ <div></div>

<DIV>I have beaten him using PGT and an imbued sabre at 36 - but I have lost too.  Hes not easy.  All buffs except dig in.  Slam invade and batter as often as possible, but keep cycling HOs using lowest level taunt for cheap dmg.  No potions, std yellow gear.  I considered shield/1hander for the interrupts but its just too hard to pass up the PGT procs. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Haven't tried with dig in yet, 1 extra def for the melee penalty seemed unwise, but it may be worth a try given the beating he hands out.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

PGT + Shield works best for me on him.  Drain his power every time it pops and try using your AE taunt right off the bat for the 5% DPS reduction.  I did use Dig-In for the crushing mitigation.
