<DIV>Ok looking for any help here.  I appreciate eveyone has own ideas etc but a bit of guidance would be most welcome.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My ogre guardian just hit 20</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I now have the choice of 4 diff abilities - like advanced shield bash , soldiers stance etc</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My toon always plays in a group with a wizzy, chanter, fury, templar and assassin</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Therefore healign and dps are not a major issue or soloing ability as i only play that toon when my friends are on as well</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would like to make my guardian as defensive as possible to soak up the punishment while the rest do the damage. I thought i should be Concentrating on defence and health.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To this end which traits would you guys recommend - starting with the lvl 20 abilities - should i go for a higher damage shield bash or soldiers stance etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also what about the other traits i may get (was checking out a post that showed all the diff level ones in this forum)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any advice greatly appreciated</DIV>

<DIV>One thing I would recommend if you only group is that anytime you get the option to pick an upgraded taunt you do so. Holding aggro is a number 1 priority (esp when grouping with chanters) and picking one of the trainings up (at Adept 2 skill lvl) is nice to have. Personally I have never had much use for the intervene/soldiers stance line of skills but others may disagree. </DIV>

<DIV>I agree with taking the taunt abilities first.  I did take Soldier's Stance at that level and was happy with the choice.</DIV>
