<P>if you read the description carefully it says you need to kill specific things...  your skill at that lvl is called tactics...  so it doesn't take killing everything within the zone to complete...  if you can bypass (avoid) things do so...  pull with your bow to a safe spot...  start out killing what you know you can, and work your way in order from easiest to hardest till you get the update...</P> <P>sorry not putting in complete spoiler...  i think they are no fun and take what challenge there is in the game out...</P> <DIV>Wabit</DIV>

It took me three tries because of the group of casters. I did clear the entire zone but it took a bit of luck and judicious use of any skills I had that could stun or drain power.

Yeah its not very hard. All you have to do is be careful and walk around the big group in the middle. <div></div>

And there's no need to clear the zone.  But although the text indicates you shouldn't, it won't hurt if you do. <div></div>

key to this is good food/drink and target priority. Kill healers first, ones that hurt second (casters), etc... <div></div>

I remember when I did this a while back I tried to clear it all and almost died on the group of 3 casters near those spires or whatever, back then you could run back to the zone in area and they'd break just as you reached it, not sure if that works now.  Only the named need to die don't bother if you don't need them.

I did that quest recently.  Overall, I have done it on two separate characters.  Both times I completely cleared the zone.  Key to doing that is not just dinging 19 and tackling it.  Get to about 19.7  It makes a huge difference.  Toughest encounter was the group patrol of green gnolls just inside the entrance

<DIV>I did this at 18..  a lvl 35 guard friend telling me I should wait til 19, but I'm impatient <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />   Also telling me not to kill all the mobs, that I would never make it, but I'm stubborn lol.   So I went in and gave it a shot and had very little trouble.  The only semi difficult one was a group of three even con casters from inside the ring, towards the end of the second mob, my hp was about 3/4 of the way down.  Fortunately I had a mini ding after the second caster dropped.  Killed all the mobs in the instance and got some nice xp.  (I think I went in with 70-ish %, and turning in the quest dinged me to 19)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Aside from the timely mini ding, I watched to see where all the mobs were pathing to avoid adds, pulled the pathing ones to just inside the cavern leading back towards the zone entrance, killed healers/casters in encounters first, and strung HO's (concussion is my favorite for use in an HO).  The only time there was not an HO going was when I was waiting for the icon to refresh.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Good luck <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Iari111 on <span class=date_text>06-25-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:11 AM</span>
