What set of armor will yield the highest AC at level 20, whether crafted/imbued or quested, Im hoping to get a set that will last me until the late 20's early 30's. Its difficult when you go on broker and see differnt armor slots for differnt prices and you never really know if its the best armor for your level.

best thing to do at 20 is go talk to Ian Cathlan in Qeynos Harbor over by the closk tower area, and get your armor quest. He will give you 6 quests to outfit you in Hearth Forged armor. He gives pieces for every slot except your head. Best helmet at that level is the Spindlecog tinkerhelm from a quest you can pick up in the Baubbleshire from Spindlecog. You must know gnomish language. You could, if you didn't feel like doing those armor quests, just go with the crafted carbonite vanguard. But I would suggest doing your armor quests. They are good experience and best of all, the armor is free and it will last you until you hit level 30 easy. And by then you should have enough money to get some feyiron vanguard. But after that, there are no armor quests to out fit you in a whole suit of armor, so I would take advantage of the one they do offer.

Player Crafted and Imbued all the way I say .... The armor quest really sucks just because you have to quest for each piece individually. I did the quest once and swore never to do it again. I saved my money on my Main and she funded all my alts armor. Just what I did and loving it. I also started to crafted on all my characters as well to be able to make my own armor, food, drink, and whatever else I need. Best of luck to you :smileyhappy:
Message Edited by Wooddiee on 06-10-2005 11:31 AM
