I think that's when you can pick Slate's Invigorating Threat - an additional melee taunt on a separate timer to the rest. <div></div>

<P>I had taken Seloxia's Daunting Cry (the ae taunt)  </P> <P>I later Respec'd to get Slates Invigorating Threat and am much happier with my aggro after getting it.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>I would take Seloxia's Daunting Cry.  Later in the game you get better single taunts, but between Encounter taunts if you don't take Seloxia's you will only have one, Shouting Cry(I believe, am at work), that will work on Epic Mob's.  I think that is more important then getting another single taunt.</DIV>

I was just writing to make sure that the Slate's invigorating threat was still on a seperate timer.  If so I made a bad mistake <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  I could have sworn it said it shared the same timer, but just wondering if it was a bug that has been fixed recently.

<DIV>Yes, Slate's is on a different timer.  It's the only choice to make.  The group taunt does *not* have a seperate timer.  So basically you'll have one less taunt for raids if you pick that one.  And the extra hate from Slate's is certainly much more than the marginal difference you get for the group taunt.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Take Slate's.  Plus down the road, according to information from fanfaire, Guardian abilities that have secondary effects like stun/stifle/prevent target from attacking (retaliate) will be usable on epics, but it will ignore the secondary effect, so you'll be able to use Protect on raids anyway, which gives you even more reason to want Slate's (having it's own timer) then the group one.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Rorrak</DIV>

<DIV>Well this has made me an unhappy camper <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  I guess I will petition and file a complaint as the description didn't tell me it was on a seperate timer.  Wish me luck, I am sure I will get no response, as with my others.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>thanks for the info, but no thanks for the bad news LOL.</DIV>

given the coming changes I'd save your /respec if you still have it. With regards threat being on a different timer, all the other abilities are adept 2 abilities for normal abilities on same timer, you can be confidant, imho, that threat gets adjusted to same timer if/when SOE realise. <div></div>

Seloxia's lot better than slates imo, that one works with raid mob encounters too. Vilion Xanadu-Runnyeye <div></div>
