Found some cedar....should I have it made into the Imbued Cedar Shield?

<DIV>Shield and bow are both good options. If you have a nice two hander that you like to use i would suggest getting the bow first. If you dont you should get the shield.</DIV>

The shield, most definitely. Other than an Ebon BP, it's the first thing on my purchase list for when I decide to hit 40.

Don't do the shield!!!  Resist the temptation.  Get the SBS for your shield and a bow for your cedar!

<DIV>LOL.  Doesn't the proc on the shield and pants only go off when you're getting hit?  In my experience, I've never had procs go off all by itself.  Or am I reading your post wrong somehow?  Just sounds too funny to be harvesting while pantless and mooning everybody who's running by ya.</DIV>

I got a bow first (short bow, has better stats - more str+agi than long bow) and then the shield. But I like my cedar shield very much... Comparing it to SBS (Note that stats for you might vary). Equipment and buffs unchanged except the shields. Pr. Imbued Cedar Tower Shield: Unbuffed (No Food) Avoidance: 64.9% STA: 117 HP: 4733 Self-Buffed Avoidance: 67.4% STA: 154 HP: 5568 Shiny Brass Shield: Unbuffed (No Food) Avoidance: 64.5% STA: 127 HP: 4876 Self-Buffed Avoidance: 67.1% STA: 164 HP: 5711 Can't give you numbers for Grp/Raid Buffs atm (iirc, stamina hp bonus diminishes over 200) Comparison: 143 HP more with SBS 0.3-0.4% Avoidance more with Cedar Shield The benefit of the Cedar Shield is the one hit you might block more against T5 mobs. And this hit would mean more than 143 hp. In my opinion, the Cedar Shield is nicer, but not a top priority. <div></div>
