<DIV>Is what my gear is.  I took some time off my guard to work on getting my armorer to 25 so he could make me a complete set of carbonite plate.  I am in pristine helm, shoulders, gloves, AQ bracer, forged carbonite boots, a quest bp that is better than my iron forged chain but not as good as a carbonite bp, and pristine iron forged chain legs.  Accesories are pristine turquoise.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Well, I log in my guard and get dressed in the carbonite that my armorer made and I am uber.  A step up from the complete set of iron forged, except the legs.  I go to TS and get a tanking job for the gnolls at the entrance in the pit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It was all good up to that point.  You see, SOE made it so mobs hit more but, for less damage.  The upshot was, I spent about 40% of each fight stunned.  It wasnt fun nor pretty.  Casting anything was next to impossible, the sorcerer got aggro and I had to *wait* to pull it off.  The best I could do was pull with anger, wait until the mobs were almost on me, hit shout, then pray.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is this what SOE had planned for me?</DIV>

Use a good shield or something, you shouldn't spend over 20% of the time mezzed vs ANY mob. <div></div>

Hmmm, didn't realise it had gone live and assumed it was the mobs.A higher level pally tanking died with full power left as couldn't heal himself being stunned for about a minute by 3 nasties in cob inspite of me stunning them like crazy.

<P>Well, here is an update.</P> <P>Changed tactics a little after the debacle the other night.</P> <P>Did another gnoll group in TS.  Pulled with anger from as far away as I could get.  Got set and hit Hold the Line first off, then let the Shout just hit after.  I was stilled getting stunned a lot.  Forced swing got a *ton* of use.</P> <P>I was still stunned just under half the fight</P>

Any chance there was a caster in the mob group stunning you with a spell? That's the normal "stun" I get when tanking. Just take the casters down first, then it should work normal. <div></div>
