Definately depends on mob.. we change MT group based on if mob has aoe, or big nukes, or heavy melee. Monks, Conjs, Pally, dirge, can all have a slot, it just depends. I think its hard to give u one overall uber group makeup... gotta vary based on mobs. <div></div>

<P>Best group i have seen is sweet defiler,</P> <P>Coercer</P> <P>Warlock</P> <P>Troub</P> <P>Guardain, me muahahaha</P> <P>and another nuker any type. </P> <P> </P> <P>You can replace the troub with a temp or inq debending on the mob but with that combo, you can take on pretty much anything. of course - big raid whackers.</P> <P>my 2cp.</P>

<DIV>Raid vs a melee mob</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Troubador </DIV> <DIV>Defiler</DIV> <DIV>Templar</DIV> <DIV>Monk</DIV> <DIV>Guardian</DIV> <DIV>Warden</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mystic can cast their defense through raid. I've gotten 308 defense raidin, which is godly on a melee mob</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Of course, the next update will throw this on it's head.</DIV>

Heh, after the next update you will probably want a Guardian plus 5 different healer types <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
<DIV>Most fun ive had in a group, and also let me tank things i wouldnt have tought i could at my level.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>43 guard me</DIV> <DIV>43 ranger</DIV> <DIV>45 mystic</DIV> <DIV>50 warden</DIV> <DIV>50 inquisitor</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>just us 5 and we owned Sol E. was the first and only time ive been there so far so i dont really know how the mobs stack offensively for the most part. But at one point i had 3 lv 48^^ on me and it wasnt much trouble at all. We finished even that encounter with power to spare as well. Was a guildie group and we were just screwing around to see how much we could handle. if we had filled that 6th spot would of taken even more on.... catn wait till im lv 50 lol <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>szydd on permafrost</DIV>
<P>I like to always get a mage in there, for Arcane Aegis, can't go wrong with 10% garunteed mitigation.</P> <P>Melee Mobs</P> <P>-Guard, Templar, Troub/Dirge, Warden, Conjuror, Troub/Dirge/Paladin</P> <P>AE or Nukes Elemental</P> <P>-Guard, Templar, Troub, Warden, Wizard, Conjuror</P> <P>AE or Nukes Poison</P> <P>-Guard, Templar, Dirge, Warlock, Mystic, Conjur/Pally/anything really</P>

<DIV>Best group I've been in so far, outside of my guild/family group, happened the other night in Rivervale:</DIV> <DIV>Me (40 Swashbuckler)</DIV> <DIV>40 Defiler</DIV> <DIV>39 Assassin</DIV> <DIV>38 Assassin</DIV> <DIV>41 Inquisitor</DIV> <DIV>39 Ranger</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I ran main tank for about two hours, mainly against single heroic level 40 or 41++'s. We took on casters and melees, and fought a couple Heroic 2 or 3 mob linked encounters. Eventually, one of the assassins left, and we picked up a paladin, and I let him tank for us, but I still pulled agro every once in a while on accident, as I was still in that mindset (finger kept drifting to the 'taunt' key). With that amount of melee DPS, the caster mobs we faced (defiled nymphs, I think) died quickly, and the melees (scarecrows) didn't fare much better. We never had a death while we were there, and we chewed through about 40% experience that night. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The best part about tanking as a Swashbuckler is, if the mob decides the Assassin(s)/Ranger is doing too much damage, and turns to face him, I just lay into my Positional attack keys, and throw in the occasional taunt, and the mob rotates back to me. It was a total blast though, one of those groups that does well, even though it shouldn't, by conventional wisdom. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A group I would like to try someday, is this:</DIV> <DIV>Monk/Brawler</DIV> <DIV>Guardian</DIV> <DIV>Guardian</DIV> <DIV>Guardian</DIV> <DIV>Guardian</DIV> <DIV>Cleric-subclass/Druid-sub/Shaman-sub</DIV> <DIV>The tactic that I have in mind for this, would be to have the Guardians all throw Intervene (or the upgrade to it) on the Monk/Brawler, while the healer worked on keeping the group healed. I don't even know if the mechanics support this, though, as I don't know if you can have more than one intervene from different players (i.e., stacking) on a single player. Just a random thought, though.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Inkidoo Gearhear</DIV> <DIV>40 Halasian Swashbuckler</DIV> <DIV>Gnomish Death Squad</DIV> <DIV>Qeynos, Crushbone</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Intereve nice try, dont work. any raid mob will 1 hit the person with inrervene on ,as you take the unmitigatied damge. Lots and lots of people come up with this idea, but it doesn't work <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>
i love aggro buffs. we don't have an active swashbuckler but we have 2 coercers. I grab one whenever the situation lets me. helps my aggro and therefore the ability of our raid to dish out DPS. <div></div>
