Adept3's t5

<DIV>I have protect and taunting assault adept3's.  Is it worth it to get any others like deafen or a buff?  Thanks for the advice.  The ad3 protect seems to almost instantly pull aggro so not sure i would really need anything else.  Your thoughts?</DIV>

<P>  Well deafen is a must, since raids will boil down to one mob eventually.</P> <P>   I also adept 3d fortified stance, commanding presence (since it is the highest hate producing buff) and staggering slam since I use that a lot, so far.</P>

<P>Well it depends on what type of player you are,</P> <P> </P> <P>     If you are in a raiding guild and you raid alot, protect would be the last thing you need to do adept3, in fact i will probably never make it adept 3 since you cannot use it on raid mobs. Defenetily all of your other taunts should be adept 3, theres 5 other taunts i use other then protect that are on different timers, some even tier 2, the lower lvl taunts dont pull as much aggro but they are on different timers from teh higher lvl ones so i keep them on my taunt hotbar and use them religously.</P> <P>  Fortified stance is a must, this spell is such a good buff, and adept 3 is a big upgrade over adept 1. I WOULD NORMALLY say all your buffs next, but with the defense and agi nerfs coming that may not be the best choice anymore.   Even if you raid protect should be the third tier 5 you adept 3. It says it does not work on epic mobs, but this is actually false. It works on ^^, just not ^^^. I use this spell all the time in instances like zek etc to hold aggro on the ^ and ^^ mobs and then just focus on the ^^^. Plus, you are still going to group and do stuff besides raiding at 50, so not adept 3ing one of your staple tier 5 spells is bad decision. <P><SPAN class=time_text>   Also, not sure if this is a bug or not, but if you cast Protect on the non ^^^ in groups of epic mobs with ^ or ^^ it seems to generate hate on the ^^^. Something I have been using for a long time. Granted it does not work when only a ^^^ left, but why use AE taunts on single mobs . Should base your decisions on the  majority of what you do. Shouting cry + Deafen + Taunting Assualt is more then enough to hold aggro on multiple ^^^ in same encounters (like menagerie) as it is on groups of ^ , ^^, and ^^^, but the use of protect to generate 2x the hate on multiple mobs adds up.</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by English Da Guard on <span class=date_text>04-21-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:36 AM</span>
