Def vs Slashing/Piercing/Crushing

<DIV>I've seen a few of these items around.  They'll have relatively low stats(still decent, but better items for the same stats are out there) but will have +90 vs Piercing, Slashing, and Crushing.  Has anyone had any experience with these possibly own one or two that can vouch for their usefulness or lack thereof?</DIV>

I almost hate to answer this as I've noticed some people might not yet see the real value of these items.  But, for example, if you were to have a necklace with 30AC and then +90 vs piercing, slashing and crushing...this would, in effect, give the necklace 120AC and that's pretty darn nice imo.  I've snapped up a couple of these already for my guardian and added an effective 6-8% mitigation (1 of the items has different values for each of piercing, crushing and slashing) just from the extra mitigation "resist" stats. <p>Message Edited by Reluctant_Messiah on <span class=date_text>04-19-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:30 PM</span>
