<DIV>just a quick ? to see if this is a bug.   call of command app4 gives def +9, and call of protection app4 gives def +10.....just wondering how a spell thats so many levels higher only gives an additional +1 to defense....this can't be right....thanks.</DIV>

<P>  Well, you have to look at your level. If one spell is green to you and one is orange, you have to remember you still have not mastered this spell. Give it some levels and you will see it go up.</P> <P>   I do not know the stat increases it gives off hand, I can check tomorrow.</P>

Whats really sad is the few times ive seen a Master of my combat arts...selling for like 5pp and when I examine it im like *$%#&!...5pp for +1 to Parry? ALOT and i mean ALOT of the games Cobat Arts/Spells are like this.  The vast majority of them are not even upgrades at all and in many cases actually end up giving less benifit for a higher power cost.  IMHO this concept that upgrades are not upgrades and the few times they are the upgrade is TINY TINY TINY is the #1 factor that will cause the early demise of EQ2 if they dont do something about it.  A level 40 spell even at app1 should be an upgrade to a level 20..i dont care if that level 20 one is Master level....pure and simple Upgrades need to be upgrades or people will get tired quickly. My girlfriends 42 Fury still uses "teen" level regens because they are far more power efficient than the upgrades she has gotten.</span><div></div>
