If your looking for dp's then guardian is not your class, if you want to dish out damage go Zerker. However, I may be wrong when I say this but if your looking to tank the big epic stuff go guardian because the zerker in our guild who's 50 gets waxxed by these. Zerker's probably hold aggro better with their offensive skills but that's at the cost of them having a weaker set of defensive buffs than their guardian counterparts, that's stating the obvious but I could care less. And zerkers recently took a nasty nerfing with rampage, its all whatever you want to do really.
actually a weaker set of defense buffs is an understatement , our are broke atm since none of our seperate buff lines stack what so ever ( ther overwrite each other even thou they are totally different spell lines ) Honestly if you want to be happy witha class with almost no nerfage go a Guardian <div></div>

With so much nerfing going on it's really a gamble. Do not base your decision on current content but instead on what the definition of the guardian/berserker is. If you want to be a tank who can deal good offense but not be quite so defensive then use a berserker. If you want to be a tank who focuses more on the defensive aspect of the game but not so much offense go with guardian. BOTH CAN TANK IN A GROUP JUST FINE. As a guardian you will probably be chosen as a tank over a berserker if the two are grouped together or in a raid, but you will not deal anywhere near the damage of a berserker. You will probably get groups easier as a berserker because a group needs one tank but can use multiple dps so if a group has a guardian already they will not want another but as a berserker you could join that same group as a dps if the tank roll is filled. Choose based on what you believe to be your style of play, not which class is broken atm. In a year the two classes may be totally different. <div></div>

Your defense will be within 5 points of a well-equipped Guardian, and your parry will be significantly higher. This equates to very similar tanking results while raiding.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I can guarantee that any Guardian main-tanking raids for their guild gets their defensive skills upgraded as much as they can, while all the Berserkers primarily go for the damage arts and it's this mindset and approach where the biggest difference lies between the two.</DIV>
