Shield suggestion?

<DIV>Name's Akaran, lvl 40 - near 41 - Guardian on the MM server. My current shield (Guard of Grumm: <A href="http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/GuardofGrumm.php" target=_blank>http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/GuardofGrumm.php</A>) has gone blue to me and I'm worried about how much longer it's going to be able to serve me. As such, I'm looking for a replacement.. and I really miss having a nice tower shield at my disposal. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything that surpasses the Guard, so I thought I would check in here. Does anyone have a good shield suggestion for post 40?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance.</DIV>

<P>Cedar is what you want to get for now.  You can upgrade later with a good dropped, but if you can afford the total outlay, you want to get a pristine imbued cedar.</P> <P>Someone chime in if I'm wrong on this.</P> <P> </P>

Even better is the Ageics of Aclarity. More Shield factor, better stats and melee haste. It's better than cedar but it's expensive. Like 5p on my server. You can get the Cedar for 2p or so if you work at it.
