bloodfire till you can do prismatic, most guilds can't. <div></div>

Imbued ebon longsword is better than bloodfire now, more damage and a better proc. Not as much str...., but really that's only a consideration if you solo.

bloodfire is free and easy quest, ebon could be better spent on armor, and the bloodfire proc at least works on raid mobs (the ebon proc will not). <div></div>

Hmm tuna i guess you tried an ebon weapon on some raid mobs? Was goign to get an inbued ebon battle hammer made to replace the one unimbued im using atm, but are you 100% that the procs wont work on raid mobs? <div></div>

I would like this confirmed as well. My ebon proc worked fine on the FBSS mobs, and they are some resistant [Removed for Content].

No I cannot confirm, but I will ask our swash who has two imbued short swords to watch for sure on next raid. (honestly the proc adds like .5% to the dps.. total waste of an ebon) <div></div>

But at lvl 50 your probably looking at doing mostly raids and things like that.   So I would suggest going with a weapon for every type of damage. Blood fire for slashing (until you can get a prismatic), and pristine imbued weapons for the other types; IE: Crushing and Piercing. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Perfect example my Bloodfire would not work on King Zalak (the CL raid instance) but the T5 Imbued Battle hammer would. i dunno about u guys, but sbd has good stats for tanking, str, sta, and agi. I just use that and my tower shield. works fine for me till i get my prismatic wep.

Bloodfire for slash forged ebon hammer for crush forged ebon spear for pierce I like to have a good weapon of each type just in case... until I get prismatic for bloodfire. <div></div>
