<DIV>I read a few topics here today and found the Gage some measure Guardians by wanting so I thought I'd post a point I noticed the other day that is actually Guardian specific.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Never Surender states that it buffs the targets avoidance by 35%. I sometimes group with a 50 Guardian and I'm 49 so he MT's and I buff him. I specifically asked him for before and after avoidance numbers for when I buffed Never Surender on him.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The change in his avoidance number was... *Drum Roll*.... ZERO!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dunno what that means but people might want to discuss it. I suspect :</DIV> <UL> <LI>It's a messed up buff</LI> <LI>It doesn't show on the Avoidance score on purpose</LI> <LI>The Avoidance score is broken</LI> <LI>There is a max avoidance you can get from buffs</LI></UL> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Who knows...</DIV>

<P>I know our line that buffs up target avoidance doesn't increase their avoidance either.  But it does allow us to block/perry/deflect for the target, so we've pretty much resigned to thinking it gives us a 38% chance to block/perry/deflect for them, allowing them to "avoid" the damage.</P> <P>/shrug</P>

<P>Yeah I have noticed this too...</P> <P>I group with a monk and when he tosses this I notice that it does work, but no change in my stats. I think it might just be that it is not reflected in the score =(</P> <P>I would like to see that changed</P>

<P>Yes.. Allay and Never Surrender most definatly work. I toss them on my friend and the damage he takes in big fights gets cut by a tremendous amount. And with both of those buffs I do not take damage so no extra worry for the healers.</P>
