Only if it is unattuned <div></div>
<blockquote><hr>Arsenal wrote:Only if it is unattuned <div></div><hr></blockquote>Don't spread misinformation. If you are an armorer, you can enhance your own armor, attuned or not. If your not an armorer, and have armor you haven't attuned you can trade it to an armorer and have them enhance it.

I'm sure that applies to about .05% of the people out there <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <b><i> </i></b><div></div><p>Message Edited by Arsenal on <span class=date_text>03-21-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:49 AM</span>

<DIV> <DIV>Attunment has no effect on being able to enhance the armor. However, since you cannot trade attuned armor, you will have to be able to enhance it yourself if it is already attuned.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since these are new items, you will have to get new pieces if you want to have them. As several people pointed out, if the new armor had a new name, not just "Enchanted <EM>old item</EM>", no one would even think twice about not being able to enhance their old stuffs. Just forget the name is similar to what you have. The naming is unfortunate, but there is no reason to whine about not being able to turn your old stuff into the new stuff. Being able to enhance an existing piece is just a small benefit to those who are already armorers and tailors, to help make up for having to grind out unsellable crap for the last several months.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just pretend it is called Enchanted Cobalt or some other such thing, if a new item with a variation on an old name is really beyond your ability to adapt to. </DIV></DIV>
Did an ebon breast plate last night, it has a 5% chance to proc a 12 point heal everytime you are struck. This is most likely a bug with the proc being so low. I haven't tested if "struck" means everytime you are hit but block/parry/riposte or if you have to take actually dmg. Will do so tonight. The legs proc around 60-80 depending on quality, and again have a 5% chance everytime you are hit. Now, the ebon longswords are very nice. The proc is around 150-250, again at 5% everytime you hit something.

Don't be so self righteous. I brought up my crafting lvl and my adventure lvl at the same time, and at this moment I'm 40th+ adventurer, and 40th+ artisan. And now I'm reaping the benefits of it.As for rare gear, believe me there were many more adventurers who had full suits of ebon before there were crafters in them.<p>Message Edited by Migyb on <span class=date_text>03-22-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:57 PM</span>
