<DIV>Please excuse me if Im being obtuse but ive been wondering for a while now :</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If both these attacks are designed to ignore the targets armour class ... why dont they always hit for full ... or at least within the range stated in the skills description?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cheers for any answers <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Farhane</DIV> <DIV>Tides of Destiny</DIV> <DIV>Guk Server</DIV>

<DIV>They don't hit for full, but they ARE both knockdowns. I find the line useful for that purpose, and I have Slam / Unerring / Staggering Slam all lined up on my tertiary hotbar for those times when I really need to keep the monster from attacking for a short time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Manii Names</DIV> <DIV>- Najena</DIV>

<P>Am I correct that a knockdown also counts as an interrupt when fighting casters ?</P> <P>If so, I don't care how much damage True Strike does, the interrupt is PRICELESS.</P> <P>Also, I can't remember True Strike ever "Missing" . . . I've had it Blocked, Parried and Riposted, but I've never seen it just "Miss".</P>

<DIV>The reason you dont always hit for full is because of your dice roll... All damage you do is done on a magical dice. So you generate different amounts of damage. If you played D&D which i never have You will understand more about the dice rolls. I only know a small bit from friends that do play.. I do know most if not all games like this the damage is done by a dice roll. Hope that helps... JFYI im shooting from the hip im not totally sure this is the reason why.</DIV>

<DIV>It seems that True Strike cannot miss, but it can still be mitigated. Not sure if this is working as intended, since the descriptions often have little to do with what the skill actually does. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It may be the ability is broken, the description is broken, our understanding of what the fudge the devs mean by "Launches an extra attack that ignores the target's armor class" is broken. Or some combination thereof...</DIV>
