<DIV>I did a search on the forums and have seen nothing written about this spell. I just turned level 30 and have recived it. WOndering if anyone has any thoughts on it. APP4 its only 3 percent boost, but I team up with a Cocer and he gives me a 20 percent haste plus power regen. DOes anyone have the adept 1 stats or higher on thsi spell. Does the haste percentage increase with your level?</DIV>

I myself removed this from my hot bar. Drains my power way to fast. Do not know much about the spell other than I think its a wasteful skill for a tank to have.. Anybody got any pros to using this skill ?

I haven't quite figured out this spell. I can't get it to use power when I'm not in combat, or not fast enough to decrease my power bar. When in combat, I am not sure I can tell a difference.

Aye if your power isnt going down quickly something is wrong with it. It drains about the same rate as sprint.

<DIV>Either the spell description or the spell itself is bugged post App3.  App1 reports roughly 20 percent haste, app3 reports 26 percent.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>After app3 the value goes down.  My adept 1 only shows 4 percent haste as the description.  This is a known issue that we are still waiting on being addressed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Assuming it's just the description that is bugged then it's well worth keeping up all the time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since I got the skill I have always had it up.  As far as power consumption, one odd thing I noted is when I first got it at App I did see a noticeable drop in power during the battle, however, after upgrading to app3 and eventually to Adept 1 I never had a power issue with this spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I use no other skills during a fight I can go 3 minutes with this on and only lose roughly 20 percent of my total power.  This makes it very useful to me assuming the spell description is wrong and the spell isn't really giving the meager 4 percent it's reporting in the description.</DIV>

<DIV>Yep,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>App1=20%</DIV> <DIV>App2=24%</DIV> <DIV>App4= 3%</DIV> <DIV>Adept1= 4%</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have refused to use it since I got App4. I just had adept1 drop last night in Nek Castle so that's the only reason I have it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm not familiar with EQ2 parsers, but can they help us determine if this reduction is actual or displayed?</DIV>

<P>Yes, they can.</P> <P>Here is what you would do.</P> <P>Attack a mob, low green double ups work good because they have lots of HP.  Make sure you are using just ONE weapon - DW would make this hard to see.  Do NOTHING but hit your auto attack.  No CA's at all.  Sit there and attack it until it dies or you have to run.</P> <P>Find another mob, again low green double ups work great.  Cast DF and hit auto attack.  Note the point where your power runs out by /say something in the log.</P> <P>At that point, you compare the two fights.  In the first fight, the parser should show you the raw delay on your weapon.  In the second fight, it should show you something different, which would be the effects of DF.</P> <P>If you do the tests, I'll be happy to parse the log for you.</P>

<DIV> <DIV>I don't understand why everyone is so vauge and unsure about the power cost.  you can just mouse over your power bar and it shows your power numbers.  Its the easiest thing to test.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Desperate Flurry at app1:</DIV> <DIV>10 power to activate</DIV> <DIV>20% haste</DIV> <DIV>52 power every 6 ticks</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Desperate Flurry at app3:</DIV> <DIV>11 power to activate</DIV> <DIV>28% haste</DIV> <DIV>55 power every 6 ticks</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Power regen is 1% your pool every tick.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you don't have the power at nessecary at time it tries to drain it will turn off. (so if you are out of power, you can milk flurry for 30 sec of free haste).</DIV></DIV>

Looks like Adept3+ is the only use you will get out of this spell, ever.
