Hi im aramith a level 27 guardian from the permafrost server.With all the zerk vs guard threads its a whole lotta hate and no real thought as to what should be done imho. I had kind of an idea from watching a few lower level characters and thought hrmmm i could probably make that work.My idea would be replacing some of the lesser used skills with proc based offensive damage contingent on us being hit. It wouldnt really imbalance soloing as we get hit so little its not even funny. No hits= no extra damage, i dont feel this damage should be a nuke going off but an extra 40 damage at adept level per hit towards us i believe brings a little extra oomph to a group. I mean all the teammate based protection spells... if you losing agro obviously you are not doing something right. Heck make it use concentration slots maybe 1 or 2 to run the proc damage power, even 3 so we cant run soldiers stance if you really wanna level the playing field.I feel that it would make us more than just a damage sponge not factoring into the dps equation at all or if we are factored in were the black sheep brother the dreaded letter z lol. for zerkers that are undoubtedly going to flame the living [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] outta me.. its not even gonna come close to the amount you put out, and its just an idea =).so say we call the ability... eh for funs sake "smackback" the combat log might look something like thisamazon archer hits you for 316 crushing damage with crushing blowyour "smackback" ability hits amazon archer for 37 points of x damage typeamazon archer tries to hit you with wild swing but you parryyou hit amazon archer with slam for 85 damageamazon archer hits you with rip for 110 slashing damage"smackback" is resisted (ie the proc didnt go off)tell me what you guys think. remember just an idea... /putonflameretardantsuit
