<DIV>Hello All,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am still only lvl 12 - however, I have noticed a direct correlation with the increase of a specific damage pierce, slash, crush and the armor lvl - when my slash is at 60 then I can wear lvl 60 armor.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So...I have been trying to equally raise pierce, slash and crush...however...this has ultimately hindered the lvl of armor...in other words...if I had been increasing slash the whole time without working on the other 2 attack skills...I may have slash at 80 now instead of having slash, pierce and crush at 70 each.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sooo....my question is (because I'm a half elf and armor/ac is critical for me)...should I just raise one damage skill slash, pierce or crush only so that I can wear higher lvl armor or should I continue with raising all 3?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What is everyone else doing - raising all 3 or just 1?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Your armor skill will go up as you lvl and you will be able to wear higher lvl armor as you progress. There is no link between your slash skill and your armor skill. What the slash, crush or pierce skill do is improve your chance to hit with that type of damage weapon and improve the damage done with each successful attack. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Working on keeping up those skills is a very good idea, you never know what weapon may turn up and it would be unfortunate to find out that that great weapon you just got performs poorly for you because you never used a pierce weapon before lvl 40. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hope that helps. </DIV>

<DIV>I definitely agree on keeping up your weapon skills. Keep weapons of all 3 types on hand to keep your skills up. So much easier than doing it later. Just whip em out whenever your not MTing or if your killing easy mobs. Best to get 2 duel wield weps of varyiing skills (one piercing, one slashing etc) to make it go fast. Yanking em out for 5 mins after leveling beats the hell out of the alternative. Also were warriors **mods 4 teh win!!1!** it. We should master all weapon types!</DIV>
