No one seem to have the same opinion.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Z</DIV> <DIV>no G</DIV> <DIV>no Z</DIV> <DIV>no G</DIV> <DIV>no Z.....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Its a endless war between G and Z.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know peeps need to stop thinking EQ1, but reallity is another things. <DIV> I would say that either one is fine. I personally would rather have a berserker though (I'm a berserker btw so this might be biased, but it is logical to me). Berserkers can hold aggro better. Aggro is not going to leave the berserker unless he dies, plus the berserker does more damage, which kills the mobs faster. A guardian can take more hits due to defense buffs and not having abilites that lower his defense, but doesn't keep aggro as well, nor does he do as much damage as a serk. With the extra damage being done by the berserker, he doesn't have to be able to take as much damage as the serk because the mob will be dead more quickly than if a guardian were in the group. </DIV> <DIV> I do agree with you that this will be and endless debate. There are always going to be people who would rather have a guardian and people who would rather have a berserker. But until the game is a little older, most of the reasons that a group would choose one class over another are purely assumptions. People associate the word guardian with tanking. When people think of the word berserker, they don't really know what the class is for. Until people start testing stuff, no one is really going to know which class is better for tanking. I want to hear some reasons for why people think guardians are better to have aggro than berserkers.</DIV>

<DIV>Sure zerks can do more damage, but how many protection abilities do youhave, I am not a zerk but I can tell you that I can have several different protections skills out on several different peeps in my group. Other than more damage on a mob, can you protect multiple peeps at the same time vs. several different mobs? I think not. As a matter of fact I once allowed a Zerk to tank and I placed intervene on him to keep his butt alive hehe. The moral is simple, as long as people try and make EQ2 into EQ1 with better graphics then we will continue to have this stupid debate. All of us are important and have a unique place as it is right now. Personally I would rather see more time spent on get the dev's to fix bugs such as single mob taunts only agroing the mob we want to agro vice being a Shout taunt and agroing everything in the area at the absolutely wrong time! Besides, some of the best XP groups I have been in always had 2 or 3 fighter subclasses to mow through the mobs faster.</DIV>
