I went back to Delacar too early, and couldn't back out of doing the test at level 18.I couldn't kill more than one white spiritest in the ring. Doing those yellows will be tough, even after I go back at 19.Besides the obvious things like buying armor upgrades (expensive), how did you get past those things? Also, Delacar said he would send a scout to help me, but nobody showed up for the fight. Same problem for you guys?
<DIV>You don't have to kill all the gnolls, just the named ones...I really didn't have a problem killing any of them, just took a lil bit to regen after the fights. As far as the scout goes I didn't see him until after I killed all the named gnolls in the instance, and talking to him just zoned me out to antonica.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Catulu 21 Guardian~Everfrost</DIV>

<DIV>The real test is how few you can kill to be successful. </DIV>

<DIV>Its not that hard. Clear you way to the commander kill him ( try to avoid the roaming pack). Next you can single pull the named in the rings without aggoing the the 3 healers with a bow and standing agaisnt the wall. Last clear you way to the DE and kill along with the gnoll by her. The last fight was close but its doable.</DIV>

If you can't do this at level 18 then you are doing something woefully wrong. Either you have no clue how to keep your armour upgraded, or you have no idea how to solo or use your skills properly. I did this at level 18 and breezed through it, even with half crappy armour. It is a piece of cake, read my post elsewhere on how to complete it. And no, you don't have to kill all the gnolls, I left the casters in the henge and 1 of the 2 pairs of guards just before the final 2 bosses. This is the edit: I can't see why you thought the scout would help you in the fight, did you actually read the quest text? The scout is purely there to zone you to Ant when you have finished the quest. In fact you don't even need to talk to him, I just COQ'd back the moment I killed the last boss, and didn't even see him.<p>Message Edited by Hastur Bloodwake on <span class=date_text>11-30-2004</span> <span class=time_text>07:38 AM</span>

<DIV>I agree Hastur... I was able to kill every gnoll in there at 18 with what i would call crappy armor. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Did anyone else notice a pathing bug on the last named guy? I was able to walk back and forth and only get hit a couple times.</DIV>
