Please help with guardian hallmark quest!! Beware of bug!! (spoilers)

<DIV>I am currently a level 20 warrior who HAS completed his hallmark quest, but this bug prevents me from acheiveing total guardianship. Basically, the hallmark quest, issued by Cpt. Monarvia in West FP, tells you to...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. Kill a bunch of dervish cutthroats in the commonlands and retreive a note or a piece of paper.</DIV> <DIV>2. Go back to Cpt. Monarvia and get the second part of the quest.</DIV> <DIV>3. Go to Serpent's Sewer in the Sprawl and protect Monarvia's agent.</DIV> <DIV>4. Upon completion of protection, talk to the spawning NPC's (who thank you for a job well done), then you are required to go back to Cpt. Monarvia and redeem your hallmark quest completetion and special item....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When I go back to Cpt. Monarvia, she can not be takled to! She, all of a sudden, acts like any other guard NPC (red con, able to only find other NPCs). I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they had to do in order to fix it. I wrote a CSR bug ticket (still no response) and I realize I could probably destroy the quest and try it again...but that would just flat out SUCK! I finished this quest when I was level 19. Now I am level 20 and have tried numerous times to talk to her with no success. Any help would be appreciated.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Osofresh</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>After killing the mobs in Storage room in Serpent sewer Monarvia and two "bodygaards" spawned in the Storage room near the gate. I talked to her and got quest completed and a shield as reward.</DIV> <DIV>Did you talk to her in the Storage room or did you ported yourself out and talked to her in Militia building?</DIV>

<DIV>Yes...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When I finshed killing the dervish cutthroats that threatened the agent, I spoke to the NPC who spawned afterwards. She thanked me for a good job and told her soldiers to comb the area and kill or caputre any remaining dervishes. Furthermore, my quest journal is instructing me to go back to Cpt Monarvia can finish the quest, however she is red con'd. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I submitted both a bug ticket and a /petition... still no word. Tried deleting the quest to do it over again, but one can not delete hallmark quests (DOH!). SO now my level 20 Guardian eligible character is still a level 19 warrior with a ton of xp banked. Eventually, I will hit a standstill.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I can see if this problem occurs with many people that this could be a potentially huge problem. <DIV>I had something slightly similar, I spoke to the captain in the instance initially and went through her conversation got all the job well done text and everything, but I didn't get a reward so I spoke to her again and bingo my shield appears as a quest reward and the quest gets completed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You might be hitting something similar, might be worth heading back down to the sewer to see if the instanced version is still accessible and you can talk to her again? I talked to her in the instance and got xp / reward etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However I do have some other info that might help (maybe).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I completed a previous quest with a group the other day and everyone got their rewards except me. The window never even showed up. Later on I was looking through my racial traits online to see which one to pick because Id been saving the + sign for a while since I wasnt sure what to pick. As soon as I picked it... I got the reward window and the quest completed. Had I picked sooner I probably would have got the quest reward at the same time everyone else did.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Doesnt sound like the same problem but you never know =)</DIV>

hey maybe youll get lucky and a GM will take pity on you and you can make another class alltogether instead of the not-prefered tank that guardians are billed as, but arent.
