I heard plate gloves of hate and fire branded .. but dont know where they start.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know at 20th level we can start our class armour quest for Plate but in beta they suggested it starts at 20 and most will be lvl 24 before they get a piece. Leaps and bounds better than Doom Stick.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, the Plate Gauntlets of Hate are pretty nice which also come from a quest that drops of a mob in FG.</DIV>

<DIV>As ToAshes says, our armor quests start at 20, I wouldn't worry too much about the armor until then (maybe get a chest and legs).  It will take a while to get the guardian armor, but its not too difficult at least the first few pieces.</DIV>

You then continueing killing mobs in FG to complete them. I'm going to ding 20 today so alas I wont make my goal of full Heavy Plate at 20. <DIV>Been noticing forged plate starting to show up on the broker, too. Might not hurt to keep an eye out there. Steel and Carbonite pieces have popped in, and some have decent stats.</DIV>

<DIV>Well I must admit hindsite is better sometimes..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>First off I made 20 got the first part of armour gloves.. this one was easy kill 19 guardians at ruins and a named at Xroads... took maybe an hour. nice glaoves about the same stats as the hate gloves from FG. Went to sell my hate gloves I completed and saw 4 pair for sale .. dont buy the hate gloves, the quest gloves are easier than making the silver people are selling them for. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>"Skullcrusher" the hammer that was mentioned is insane. The quest starts when you find a Pick in FG so if that drops explain to group is a one handed weapon and you need it. The rest of quest is just killing mobs untill you get the pieces that auto pop in your inventory. This thing is a 14-41 damage with stats, VERY sweet weapon it is possible to get this before 20 .. looks like a one handed sledge hammer when worn. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also I was disapointed in the heavy plate graphic, the fancy stuff everyone showing off is the vanguard stuff. Heavy plate looks good on chracter select screen but in game it doesnt look much like heavy plate. </DIV> <DIV>Zak</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>quest plate is better but very hard to get. I bought the full suit minus hands / bracers and now have quest hands/bracer/boots. The extra AC from the steel vanguard has been good to me and I can auction them off as I upgrade with no real huge loss.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also bought gold jewelry which at level 22 gives 18 ac but eventually up to 27. At level 22 I have 1100 ac unbuffed which I think is good for mostly storebought stuff.</DIV>

I think I would level past any armour I bought to fast.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The great thing about the quested also is all the pieces seem to drop off mobs you would be hunting your lvl anyway. I was 20 guardian and tanked for all my quested stuff even the orange wretched rats. I do believe getting thoose few pieces of heavy plate from the questing prior to 20 helped.  The quest are not soloable this is a group type hunt. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Genesis Forgoten --- Just curious what is a ball park figure for the Store bought stuff??
