<DIV>I thought you couldn't die in there. If you can I have an amazing story to tell... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> There are 3 cleric mobs that were blue and grouped. I pulled them and used all my specials. Heal, Heal, Heal... they kept their life up and I was hurting fast. At about 10% health and power I run. I run back to zone and can't zone out... I was down to a sliver... a sliver of health. All of them were still there and almost full health but no mana. I stood toe to toe and took them down one after another all the while maintaining that sliver (less than 1%). I thought I lived because you can't die in the zone. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> To answer your question.. I killed all the mobs in there except for those blue protectors. Which mob is giving you a problem?</DIV>

<DIV>you have to kill 4 names there.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I killed every mob but those 3 healers.</DIV>
I completed the quest last night at 18th. Killed everything except for the healers near the druid stones. Got 20% of my lvl when I finished.

<DIV>Basically anything in there with a The infront of the named. I did it at 18 and the only one that got me close to death was that dang horde of Gnoll youths and the Leader with them. lol</DIV>

<DIV>So i started the quest in Secluded Valley and died in there. For the life of me I cannot find this place again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Must I go back to the quest giver to return to the instance?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/D</DIV>

Yeah, I died too. Very sad.I went in and slaughtered the gnolls up the path. Fine. Then I skipped the green whelps and and healers and went to the back area. I walked around the first group of gnolls (protectors?) and took on the second. And soon as I finished that group, the Bloodsaber emissary and the other Named gnoll attacked me (No time to rest). I killed the Bloodsaber guy and ran. I ran around in circles for a while until the other guy left me alone. Then I regened and killed him.Fine. Still didn't win. So then I went back and killed the green whelp gnolls. Nothing. The only guys left were the shamans and the first group of "protectors" (or whatever they are called. I assumed that the protectors weren't named and I had to take on the guardians.I died. Very sad. I later went back to the instance and my soul shard wasn't there. I'm still missing it, however.I guess I should wait until 19. Are we sure you don't have to kill the shamans? That would really make my day, because they suck.--BW

<DIV>i would recommend waiting till 19 to do this quest. even at 19 i didn't have trouble w/ any of the mobs, even the healers in the center. make sure you are using constant HO's and take on the healers first.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>as far as completing the quest, after you kill everyone, or at least the commander and the female emissary w/ the commander, you walk back towards the entrance and there is a dwarf waiting for you there. when you talk to him you zone out into the far east end of antonica near the steppes station. you have to go back to talk to the quest guy to finish at that point.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>if you die while doing this quest, i would assume you need to go talk to the quest giver in qeynos in order to be zoned back into the secluded valley.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>hope this helps.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Bobbubski on <span class=date_text>01-21-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:29 PM</span>

Yeah it does. I just realized I never went back down (after killing all but the shamans and the one group of protector gnolls) to see if the dwarf had shown up... Maybe he was there the whole time...--BW
