newbie Guardian weapon questions?

If you want to bash all that comes in your way dual weild is the way to go, but if your aim is to defend the weaker once in your group(s) / guild then take the sheild as I hear it will give you a hefty AC increase in the 20's.</DIV>

1) All of them. A gauradian can use any weapon and should train to as such since it only requires three weapons to do so: crushing, piercing, and slashing.2) Use your head. When you need more DPS because your group is healer heavy and DPS light use duel wield, when you have the opposite situation use a a shield.3) Buy what you can afford. A guardian is only as good as his/her equipment when it comes right down to it, and the more AC you have the longer you live to get the quests and drops to upgrade the storebought equipment.4) Refer to 1). These are the weapon skills for a Guardian and encompass any weapon available in Norrath. Crushing, piercing, and slashing raise through use of a weapon of similar type. The other skills like Great Axe, Mace, Sword, etc. are what allow you to equip weapons of that class and are automatically raised one point for every twenty (20) percent you gain in a level.
