<DIV>Great Swords? Certainly. Bow's, I'm not so sure about. Considering only the Predator and Ranger get any abilities for it, it wouldn't be useful for anything besides pulling.. Then, you have ranged taunts for that.</DIV>

<DIV>Fighters can use both. Guardians can use both, but I'm not sure if they would be a viable weapon for anything other than pulling at higher levels.</DIV>

<DIV>some bows have nice stats <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Good to have in range slot, and you can always use them to pull.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Aurore</DIV>
Use mine for pulling all the time. Much better range than anger. Great bow just by doing the Master of the Hunt's quest too. Better than anything I've seen drop so far. As for 2h, I really only use one when fighting trash mobs or when I'm not the only tank in group during a xp grind. Any serious tanking I always have a shield up. Rarely use dual wield either. Nice to have options though, and sometimes you just need that extra boost of dps.

<DIV>Low to mid 20's monsters start repositing for huge amounts. The MT should always have a shield up and slow as molassis one hander. I could tank a monster in beta and only get hit 3-4 times in the fight and with my 2K HP and 1700 AC that would send the healers scrambling if the hits came close together. That was changed a bit right at the very end of beta so it's different a bit now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, shileds add a ton of AC in the mid 20's.</DIV>

<DIV>I use a bow all the time it makes pulling a breeze. Plus you can get pretty decent damgae from a bow like "gregor's old bow" I have hit for 83 with it on a pull quite a few times. Not great damage but its 83 less my group has to deal with for free.</DIV>
Rat Hunter's Bow is what you get out of that quest. It's started by the Master of the Hunt by the Dog Pond in Commonlands. Very easy quest.

<DIV>thanks. Got it. Good quest <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>
<DIV>If I have room to do so, I'll pull with a bow. Not only can you smack them for around 90 at lvl 20, but you still have time to get your anger in, and a group buff (more agro) before the mob even gets to you, (where I would Taunt blow). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This usualy only happens outside, but there are places in BB and SH that I've used this as well. But Anger is much cheaper and on easy mobs or pulls I ususly use that. </DIV>
