There are also five heritages included in the expansion, such as the Dwarven Ringmail Tunic, Robe of the Oracle, Staff of the Observers, Crested Mistmoore Shield, and Raincaller Bow. There are also several signature quests, including a high-level one called The Goddess, the Orb, and the Void which (imo) had some pretty good rewards. While you may not see Unrest until after launch of Echoes of Faydwer, it is still intended to be released in the future.

Tradeskills. "Common" altars can be worked upon at level 35, by carpenters of course. And "rare" altars can be worked upon at level 65. You currently begin at skill 10 (which is equal to level 2) in secondary tradeskills, and you must work your skill up to 350 (which is equal to level 70). You have a percentage chance at skill ups after each combine, and your skill is capped (but you still must work your way up beginning at skill 10) at Level x 5. Some 'favorite' tinkered items will probably be the 45% mount, as well as the mender. The mender is suppose to cost 7.2 platinum to make, and will have a duration of 5 minutes. Some 'favorite' adornments will probably be the +stat adornment, or the deagro adornment. Also, tailors can begin making cloaks at level 23. Below is a photo of the new tinkered mender and the new tier 7 rare cloaks (remember: stats may or may not change when live) currently on beta.

Mounts. The new mount is another horse, and is of course the Guild Level 60 reward. The runspeed is now 50% (as of 11/5) and the stats on the whistle are: +6.7 focus, crushing, piercing, slashing and ranged. Cost is 14.38PP and 448k status. They have also added new horse animations for all of the horses, as well as new general horse graphics. Below is the new horse which is a Guild Level 60 reward, and there are 7 different variations (all available on the mount guide seen above). The tinkered mounts are available in both tier 3 (trivial at level 22 - skill 110), tier 5 (trivial at level 42 - skill 210) and tier 7 (trivial at level 62 - skill 310). The mounts are Mis-calibrated Gnomish Hovering Device (25% run speed), Calibrated Gnomish Hovering Device (35% run speed) and Overclocked Gnomish Hovering Device (45% run speed). All of these tinkered mounts come with 10 charges.

Housing. You can get one bedroom, two bedroom, three bedroom, and four bedroom acorns. In my opinion, these acorns are pretty plain but they still aren't live yet - so theres hope! One bedroom acorn is the usual prices, a two bedroom acorn cost is 24g 36s while the upkeep is 97s 44c and the vendor slots is 3. The three bedroom acorn cost is 96g 60s while the upkeep is 3g 86s 40c and the vendor slots is 3. The four bedroom acorn cost is 1p 68g 84s while the upkeep is 6g 75s 36c, and the vendor slots is 4.

Guild cloaks. You can customize your very first guild cloak at guild level 15, at a cost of 5 platinum per change (yes, even minimal changes). Guild level 15 unlocks the ability to change the background color and heraldry icon. At guild level 30 you can modify the trim pattern and color in addition to the background color and heraldry at a cost of 20 platinum per change. The final customize level is guild level 60, which allows you (on top of everything prior) to modify the background pattern at a cost of 50 platinum per change.

Teleportation. Congratulations druids and sorcerers on your new teleportation spells. In order for druids to teleport to any of the following druid rings, you must manually travel to that ring and harvest 'an Essence of Tunare' to attune yourself to that ring. The druid locations are: Antonica, Commonlands, Butcherblock, Greater Faydark, and Steamfont. Sorcerers can port you directly to Antonica, Commonlands, and Greater Faydark but require a reagent to teleport.

Zones. There are currently approximately 23 zones in this expansion, ranging from level 1 content to level 70. You can visit old EverQuest favorites such as Greater Faydark, Lesser Faydark, Butcherblock Mountains, Crushbone Keep, Steamfont Mountains, and Mistmoore. You can also visit (but not exactly the same form as EverQuest): Ak'akon (renamed Klak'anon), Felwithe (New Tunaria) and Kaladim.

Faction. There are several factions as there are in the current cities, as well as writs of course. While I could not find the other merchants, I did manage to find a merchant for the faction 'Protectors of Growth' and he did have titles for sale. The titles are Minor Defender (20k SP + 15g 36s), Maar-Defender (20k SP + 61g 44s), Meti-Defender (20k SP + 2p 45g 76s) and Defender (20k SP + 3p 68g 64s).

Titles. On top of the above titles, Echoes of Faydwer also adds several more hunter/slayer/destroyer titles including: Droag, Aviak, Ravasect, Clockwork, Kobold, Satyr, Vampire, Bugbear, and Brownie.

UI. There were tons of UI changes, including a revamp of the character select screen, as well as character creation screen. In my opinion, these new screens look amazing .. the skills window was also remapped to the "P" key by default, as the "L" key is now the Achievements window. Below is a screenshot of the new character select screen, minus the characters available - sorry.

Message Edited by Ever-Befallen on 11-05-2006 08:03 PM

Message Edited by Ever-Befallen on 11-06-2006 11:04 PM

Message Edited by Ever-Befallen on 11-06-2006 11:05 PM

Message Edited by Ever-Befallen on 11-08-2006 02:52 PM

Message Edited by Ever-Befallen on 11-08-2006 02:52 PM
