We all have our happy place that we go to when we're being yelled at by people we don't like. RadarX takes you to his happy place in EverQuest 2, where you'll find midgets, slot machines, and all you can eat buffets. If that didn't creep you out, take a look inside to find out which zone is designed the best, and which is the worst. <a href="http://eq2.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=861" target=_blank>Getting in the Zone</a>That's my favorite zone. What's yours? <div></div>

<P>I have to agree about the peat bog to a large extent, however within it is something rather near and dear to me, as it's the only time in any MMO I've ever played where I actually had an NPC named after me, and it's in the peat bog.</P> <P>Hate, hate hate HATE bloodskull valley, with a passion hate. Favorite zone? I got something for permafrost, don't know what but I love the zone.</P>
<P>i hate the peat bog too, always seem to lag and stutter to me, the only other zone which does that is QH very very occasionally.</P> <P>Perma and lavastorm and their instances are beautifull </P> <P> </P>

It all depends...For my favorite shock-n-awe value zone I'd have to say lava storm. I was impressed when I first saw it and when I take friend there for the first time I get a kick out of listening to them talk about it. Very LOTRs Mt. Doom feel to the place. My favorite "Themed" zone is Nektropos castle, the storyline and how it feels like a warped and twisted castle is well done.My favorite city is hands down Maj'Dul. It feels like a city, it acts like a city I bet it even smells like a city. Lastly, my favorite zone to hunt in had to be Feerrott.~Gladius FrogitusGuardian of Divine AuraNajena<div></div>

<DIV>Favorite Zone?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With out a doubt, I'd have to say Permafrost! The first time I went there I was just awe struck by the sheer size of everything. Coming from the cave entrance you look upon this ice bridge so narrow that if you slip on the ice, you'll fall seemingly forever to your death. Then you catch of glimpse of the archways with giants guarding the entry way and giant wolves on top of the archway staring down at you with their gaping jaws; saliva dripping from the tips of their fangs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Once you make your way through the archway and get to this big center door and open it. Your standing face to face with one of the oldest and most naustalgic visions of Norrath's time. Even though she's dead, she still just makes your jaw drop especially the first time you see her. The Vision of Vox just looks awesome! But don't step on them tiles!! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just simply love this zone, the have a great series of quests, commonly called the Statue quests, plus some nice lore drops/books that tell the history of certain era's in Norrath. So yah...Perma has got my vote for one of the best zones in the game!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My worst?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would have to say Freeport. Yep...even though graphically it is awe striking, but other than a simple few low level quests, there isn't much need to be around the city except to repair, check the broker, craft (you don't even really have to do that anymore either with zones such as Everfrost, and Sol Eye that have crafting tables set up for ya), bank, and put things up on the broker to sell. For the two remaining cities in Norrath there sure is no hustle and bustle. No threat other than other players wishing to duel. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Unlike Maj'dul where you venture into the wrong sect of the city, and your liable to have the whole area running after you trying to kill you. I love the way the factions are set up there. And unless you've done the Hero of Maj'dul quest series you'll always have atleast 2 factions wanting you dead.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Personally I think we need a bit more contraversy between the factions in Freeport. For being considered the 'evil' city, it's pretty tame and extremely timid. No enjoyment at all, except to go get writs. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyways...thats my 2 copper.</DIV>

I actually liked Stormhold. Walking into a room and seeing a blood trail lead to a group of zombies standing what looked to have been their picnic area...exploring the area and such awed me. I'm still finding new details for it. It's comparison, Fallen Gate, is just horrible when you put it up to Stormhold.<div></div>
