<DIV>This isn't your typical press tour writeup, but then again, that is to be expected when Mum is the one doing the writing. This article lightly skims the surface of intial impressions from a crafter's perspective, while leaving the meatier commentary about combat, monk trials, and suchlike to the folks who handle that sort of thing best. Take a peek at <a href="http://eq2.eqtraders.com/articles/article_page.php?article=g89&menustr=040000000000" target=_blank>A Mum's-Eye View of the Fallen Dynasty</a> <p>(For those who were wondering, yes, I actually did manage to run through some of the trials, and some of the combat zones with some of the Test server residents, but with my brain this full of the tradeskill revamp stuff, about all I could coherently tell you about it is that I had much fun making things go BOOM, coupled with several times where the mobs returned the favor. So, far better that I let someone whose brain is less full tell you about that side of things, as I basically just let my group mates point me at mobs that needed to die, and let me revel in mayhem, warlock-style.)

Nicely done, Niami. I always enjoy your writing. It's been a joy to get to know you on Test, and I'm in awe at the amount of work you've done on this revamp. May you have much happiness and chocolate as you return to your regular server. I hope you come visit us!<div></div>

<DIV>I like the cap raise if you get the expansion. Gives them the taste of not getting new spells unless they buy them and lets them see their first ancient teachings sell. Prepares them for further things they havent paid for.</DIV>
