The in-game wedding will be on 25th of June, 19.00 Swedish time (GMT +1) on the Splitpaw server. Makayla/Rainna, that is awesome!  I plan to attend and have some questions.  Based on cooridinating and being clergy for a few, large EQ1 weddings, these things come to mind.Will there be an aisle for the bride to walk down (don't forget to put on walk instead of running! hehe)  with the groom's visitors on one side and the bride's visitors on the other side?  If so, where do you want visitors for both parties or should we just pick a side to make them even?  Is there a request for being off mounts?  Will there be a receving line after the wedding for the newly married couple to receive gifts?  Are they registered anywhere??  <span>:smileywink:This will be my first EQ2 wedding so it's exciting to see how it goes and I can't wait!Grats to Dandrick and Noopia!</span><div></div>

<FONT color=#ff3366>You bring up some wonderful questions.... and to be honest I am still trying to put everything together.  This will be the first event of this sorts for our guild and as I didn't play eq1 (only my hubby did) I am figuring it out as I go.  :smileywink:  Firstly, yes we are requesting that everyone be off mounts as well as unequip all weapons.  As we are a small guild (only a little over 70 including alts) sides for the bride and groom will not be defined.  It would be nice if people would  just try to make it even.  There will be a receiving line set up after the ceremony and we have a few more special things planned.  Don't forget to bring fireworks and any extra snowballs that you might still have lying around. :smileyhappy:  If you have any other questions please feel free to ask away.... i cant promise i will have an answer though :smileywink: LOL  You are also more than welcome to look me up in game.... Thought of something else.  Do you want folks sitting down until the bride starts walking down the aisle and then have everyone stand up?  One of the weddings I did, we arranged for the officiating templar (cleric) to say something like, "...And now the bride.  All rise."  It wasn't rehearsed but folks were paying attention and just about everyone stood up at the same time.  It was pretty amazing to see.  When the bride and groom kissed, that's when everyone shot off fireworks.  Heh, the good ole weddings in Lake Rathe.  Everyone got drunk afterwards and killed each other.  Instead of the first dance, the bride and groom got to kill each other first then everyone else joined in.  In game weddings rule!I'll shoot you a tell in game if I have more questions.  I'm not in Norrath atm and didn't want to forget.  Blackguard...can I be an Oasis server Wedding Coordinator?  <span>:womanhappy:</span><div></div>

Since we havent seen said wedding chapel and we didnt even know GM's did weddings in eq2 we havent gotten married yet. Since we did get married in eq1 I guess its not quite as important to us now but It would be nice to have a gathering with all of our friends to celebrate and officially annouce our being a couple. The only ingame wedding I have been to was at Everfrost dock. The bride and groom stood where that ring is floating.Seems like a perfect spot.It was funny as just as templar named them husband and wife, it started to snow!
