**edit** I am very happy to announce: an editor is found. I will keep you updated about the Newspaper in this forum. As some of you might now, Germany's two servers (Innovation and Valor) have their own RP-Newspaper, the Norrath News (on www.norrath-news.de). I know you won't be able to read our work - it's in german ... but... you can still have a look at the five issues and get an impression. We have stories about events and players, we have commercials (like from guilds & crafters) and we have columns like "Single of the month", Pin-up-Girl (and -Boy, haha) and so on. If you like what you see, we have good news for you - at the beginning of next year we will release a first little english edition (on www.norrath-news.com) of the paper. The concept will be the same, characters and events we will mainly write about will be the two RP servers Antonia Bayle and Lucan d'Lere (events like gamewide firstkills will still find their place in the paper). I will stay the publisher of the english Norrath News - but since my time is (unfortuanetly) limited and I am German and not that fluent in english writing, I will need your help. Therefore we are looking for a volunteer Editor. The Editor should play on Antonia or Lucan and be willing to have a second character on the other server. The Editor should be dedicated to Everquest2, playing for at least three months and absolutely sure that he or she will stay forever :smileywink: The Editor should of course love writing - and be able to write (very) short stories & reports in newspaper manner. The Editor should be courious and well informed (or willing to inform himself in the future) about the important ingame Events and EQ2-News. If you're interested, let me know: [email protected] If you have anything to say or any more questions, just ask Eniah
Message Edited by eniah on 11-24-2005 12:47 PM

Hi Eniah:

What a great idea!!! Unfortunately I don't play on either of A-B or Lucan, so I can't be of much help to you but I will be eagerly awaiting the first issue.

I agree, it is a /great/ idea. I wish some other servers would use this idea, too, and send out a newspaper biweekly on what's happened with the server. Sounds like a great idea, though would be a bit hard to get people to sign up for it to make it useful.

Indeed, it's a great idea! I have just read through your latest issue and like it very much - I am sure both server communities would be delighted to seeing you extend the coverage to AB and LDL. I hope you succeed in finding an editor, maybe I chance upon some native speaker who would like the job.

Best wishes.

Wow... very glad to see you all like the idea I guess the first issue will be published around christmas. Not as as a big issue as the usual German ones - but we'll do our best, promise! --> Zilreed, have you seen that your wonderful movie is playing in our movie theater? (on the site right the button "Kino", means movies...) --> thefang - you have read through the issue? You can read German?

I am sure you will receive lots of positive feedback. Maybe a little post on the server specific boards would also help lateron. At least I guess there might be a few of those dedicated fan-fic authors who would love getting another chance to present their ideas by helping out with the coverage.

(German, me? Well, a little. Comes from being my native language. *grins*)
