I am here a day early, and internet connection is...well...$14 for 24 hours for the plug in ethernet connect via Bally's. I found a wireless that was less pricy (Traveler's WiFi), at $28 for 3 days but the lag is such that its unplayable in anything stressful ie raid with minimal graphics, never mind trying to play Vent on it while playing. I don't have a solution, but would suggest one have caution if you were thinking of paying the $ for the connection. Better to spend the money on something more useful like...um...nickle slots?

Just a heads up. See you there

Elly of Nektulos - EQ2, one time player of Sunlavi of Seradon - Vanguard and Colora of Ahazi - SWG and Illantha of Inorouk that was, Nameless it became and who know what now? EQ

The answer to this is kinda obvious. You and a few friends go in on the ethernet connection and turn wifi sharing on the laptop you hook up to it. This basically would allow you to subsidize the 14bucks a night fee across a few players.

Probably not the answer the good folks at ballys were looking to hear however. *wink wink nudge nudge say-no-more squire*

or just bring out one of those Portable Hotspots from Sprint or whoever. Unfortunatly, Hotel Internet is almost always really bad, sadly it is the ones you have to pay for that tend to be the worst ones, wich is *** backword to me.

Or try the Att wifi hotspots... I'm not sure of all the coverage area, but there is always that, I know that I can go to any starbucks or (dare I say it) Mcdonalds, (don't laugh, I have a kid) and get a wifi hook up.

Can't wait to get there tomorrow, just finished packing and will be leaving around 9-930 and should be there by 1-1:30.

If you have Verizon mobile broadband, it works fine from your room(north tower at least).
