I didn't see tournament info posted for things we get to do.

Last year's Veksar run was fun! Just one suggestion, more time to get the UI's set up. That's what did us in for time last year.

The power leveling 2 years ago was much more fun than the Veksar run last year. It pretty much sucked to not have time to set up UI and spells on your hotbars, and then have to go into a zone that you had no idea what to do in.

This year's tournament should be all kinds of fun.

We're working out ways to solve that pesky UI issue, so stay tuned!

I'm going to hold you to that Kiara! Beware angry red headed half elves!

The problem is: If we let people /copy to Test-copy... we can't avoid the tedium of setting up hotbars, AA's, etc.

So we are looking at another option.

I'd rather not have more time allotted to set up, though, because that means fewer people can participate. We'll figure it out though!

Any way that people could either bring their eq2_uisettings on disc/flashdrive? Might require an isolated system where the discs/drives could be virus scanned and tested, but seems like the simplest solution to me.

I've allotted more time to set up UIs

I can't let you guys do the UI on the flashdrive thing... Sorry

Currently I've allowed 15 minutes... but if everyone gets settled and ready fast, they can have more time

My wife and I are attending for the first time and we're wondering what the tournament entails?

Thanks for the info. So are the groups pre-set or do the 6 players have to hurry up and agree what classes make up a good group?

with the tournment scheduled at opening time on Friday, it makes it hard to find groups and set up characters. I am going, and am currently looking for a group for the tournment. Anyone want an experienced player to join their group? I'll play just about any class, although I don't want to play main tank.

To get setup times down to a respectable time frame, why dont you set it up so that the equipment and aa's are already in place? Or, starting at 10, let anyone signed up for the tournment set up their characters ahead of their play time, and allow the players of the first round a little more time. Have the players for the 2nd round start 30 min early, just to get their toons set up, then be ready to play at the scheduled time.

This could probably keep the delay time down. Last year was really bad, running behind over an hour and a half at the end of the tourney.

I'm going and will be signing up for the tournament. Got a raid geared Defiler and T2 Ranger copied over to test server.

being able to bring your own ui settings on a flash drive would make things 100x easier to get set up for next year.
