I am sorry. I know someone probably worked hard on the EQ2 Fan Faire cloak and all... but I have to be honest.I am not impressed. In fact, people have laughed at us for wearing it. I have heard tell that last year's cloak was very cool and people were jealous. This year...well.. it's not. I guess I can put it in my hideaway in my house, but honestly I won't wear it much, if at all. Did something happen that the developer got rushed or busy or something? There are so many other cloaks SO much cooler in the game. I guess maybe I expected something that really would make people say "Wow, where did you get that?" Perhaps it's my own fault for expecting so much?Oh well... Leerah, the disappointed Templar

If you want something that will make people say, "Wow, where did you get that?" then forget about the cloak and claim the Fan Faire loot card from within the Legends of Norrath game. Unfortunately, you can only claim the loot card on a single character rather than all your characters.

I agree. I am very disappointed in the design. Last year's cloak was killer, this year I wanna cry.

I am very happy I got to go to FF, but I was really looking forward to getting this cloak over everything else. I didn't get to go to FF last year, and am now even more jealous of the Sathirian cloak than of this one.

I don't understand what took so long to make a cloak that barely beats out the crafted cloaks in term of looks. Perhaps it was the coding for it's effect? (Which sucks by the way. We should not have to equip it to turn it into a house item.) I like the status redution for it, but it doesn't out-weigh the status we can gain from incarnadine items. (which are player made too) The status should be at least 2,000 reduction.

I think we should have had a choice to claim the cloak or a LoN Item of our choosing. I would really like to trade it in for an LoN cloak such as the Oatbreaker, Comfort, Flowing Water, Darkness. At Least those have some cooler and more unique looks... Hell, the Brew Day cloak looks better than this one! The Void Tempest cloak blows the FF 08 cloak way out of the water. Or better yet, I think you guys should redesign a new cloak and allow to hail the cloak designer to trade it in for one that has a better look or cool particle effect.

Then SOE slap the artist for doing a crappy job on the design, and apologize for "the embarrasment this may have caused".

This cloak will NEVER be worn by me. It will go in my house so I won't be ridiculed for paying for such a poorly designed item.

I enjoy it. again, this is just me talking, so if you want to flame anyone, flame me. I've got thick skin. I can take the burns.

The decal design is nice . . . but the colors? I know it's supposed to be an "ale-stained" cloak, and probably a bit worn . . . but it looks like it's been dragged through the mud and never washed. And the ALE stains? It looks like someone urinated on it in a drunken stupor behind my back . . . I mean it literally looks like someone was standing behind me and just let loose his bladder and it came out like an un-manned fire hose spraying all over the place and my poor back (and thus cloak) took the brunt of the hit. Yeah, sure, I probably saved a few souls, but they were too drunk to notice. I mean, dear GOD man, let us at LEAST run it through a wash or something . . . .

- Charn, the fragrant (Dude . . . why's it smell like a subway station every time you walk by . . . ?)
