Beta EQ Access

<p>So,</p><p>FF 2008 is now over and we were told all who attended would get into beta. Beta opened on the 19th or it was suppose to. So when do we get in? </p>

<p>I've been scanning my email several times daily waiting for my EQ and EQII beta info as well.  Was also curious about in game rewards.  I assume they'll just show up on the /claim list in game?</p><p>Thanks for any info.</p>

<p>I play EQ2 so I can't speak for the other games, but last year it took about two weeks before the in-game cloak was available to be claimed.</p>

<p>Eq2 email has started going out,  havent got the EQ1 one yet or the Free Realms one YEt. Both the Lon and The Star wars Card loots available now along with the Star Wars Card game beta , If eligible for the Star wars Card game beta log in and do a /tcg you can play that way then when you log out will be an email to the standalone client.As of Right now the in game item for Eq2 not on My account yet. So thats the latest update for you guys.</p>

I thought the EQII beta wasn't starting for a few more weeks. EQLive beta invites seem to have been going out now (today). Haven't seen any other Beta invites

<p>I recieved my EQ Beta invite email on 8/21.  When i click on the "this link" hyperlink, it takes me to my Station account page, but I am not seeing where I sign up for the beta.  Anyone having this issue, or can tell me what I'm doing wrong?</p><p>Thanks!!!  Nee</p>

For the EQ1 Beta, Zat said invites should have gone out to Fan Faire attendees. But in order to get into the EQ1 Beta, you need to be in the pool. How can the 2 accounts I registered for FF not be eligable for Beta? So if I can't register then how can I get into the Beta pool?

As of Aug 29th I have not recieved any emails from SoE for any of the Beta's.

Nah, I did that for the eq2 admins. All they can tell me is that they don't know anything. They think things are just running behind..Kinda aggravating considering I registered and paid for fan faire within the hour after they announced it. True but at least if you PM Zat, she seems to be handling some of the Beta access stuff. (She posted about having received a list of Beta attendees a week or so ago). And just to make sure, you did go to the Beta sign up pool to make sure your account(s) are in the pool? She said that they can't move you into Beta unless you're in the pool first.

<p>I also got my beta invite today and when I try to log in it says I dont have an eq2 subscription. Has anyone found any fix for this? Rather annoying isn't it. I try to login every few hours.I bet they won't log us in until we sign an NDA, and unless someone has an NDA link they can post from last year, I think we are SoL.The fact that we can't see the Beta forum on EQ2 forums is also a bad sign. When I can see those, I'll know we're getting somewhere.

what i dont understand is why didnt the NDA come with the beta invite. That doesnt make any sence. Why invite us to beta when we cant get in because of the NDA agrement. It should have all come togeather so we should have access to the beta. I really hope they get it sent out soon.

well, I already agreed to the NDA before the beta zip email went out (I got my "invite" about a week after fan faire), and I can't get in.  I think that, while they got the accounts flagged for who gets the emails, they forgot to flag the accounts for who has access.  I'm not sure exactly, but its rather annoying to get the zip file, follow all the instructions, try to start the beta and be told "you need an Everquest 2 subscription."  It's like "what the deuce?"  oh, well.  hopefully they get this F.U.B.A.R. situation resolved soon.
