Depends on where and what the events are.

Last year there was a pool party and a party up at the Voodoo Lounge. Both required 21+. AFAIK there were no other events that were locked out by age. However I think that had more to do with the Rio then SOE, as Harrah's properties do not even let people under 21 get a hotel room.

Since it is at the Hilton this year, I'm going to guess that some of the rules may be a bit more lax on some things. They allow 18+ to get rooms there and as long as you don't go to the bars/casino floor, security does not bother you there.

If any of the planners happen to be paying attention to this as well, it may be a good idea if you have an event with drinks, maybe have a wristband that people over 21 wear so that they are easily identified.

I was thinking more along the lines of having it open to 18+ but having a way to identify the 21+ people easily without it being able to be "transferred" off of a 21+ to a 20-...

It might be kind of touchy as I am sure both SOE and Hilton would not want 21+ people passing drinks to the underage.

Though vegas is one of those towns i have maybe once or twice have been carded. Plus i look very young, so its very odd to me that i rarely if never get carded there. No matter what companys trie to do theres always going to be a very limited amount of underage drinking. No getting around it, Thats why they do the 21 plus events but shrug whatever.
