More Rooms at the Rio available

<p>I was just checking the website, and more rooms are available at the Rio. Fan Faire weekend is available for around $190 a night, which is much better than the $400 or sold out they were showing before.</p>

Thanks for the info. I was a bit tempted to change my hotel arrangements but I am very disapointed with the way the Rio handled the Sony room block. Even after calling them several times over the past few weeks I was given the run around about the ridiculous price of $420.  I would have like to stay at the Rio but it looks like the Gold Coast will be getting my money this time around

The funny thing is, the Rio advertises rooms from $65.  I agree, they (the Rio) mishandled this.

I desided when I found out the Rio Charges for in room Internet service to swich my reservation to the Fairfield Inn wich is only a few blocks away. Not only is the Internet Access free, they also have free breakfest(wich is at most Fairfields really good Eggs waffles and such) and it saved me about $400 off the same time period.

Staying at Ballys which is a sister casino and they run shuttles to the Rio.... got Thursday and Sunday night free and am only paying 200 something total for the other nights.
