Right now the countdown clock on the Sony Fan Faire site says that there are 13 days remaining until the Fan Faire starts. that would put the start date on the 5th of August.. the day the whole thing is over. Unless your counting down the days till we all leave vegas... Which I doubt you're all counting the days till we, your loyal fans, have to go home.

It was probably put up by someone who can't wait until the whole thing is over and they can go back to normality.

As a side note, when does "Fan Faire" officially start? Thursday at registration?

That'd be my guess. Unless you want to count the first event, the Welcome Reception at the Voodoo Lounge, as the official start.

(Women can pretty much wear whatever, men have to wear slacks and a shirt with a collar).....

Thats when I counted it as starting. I'm gonna be there all day on the 1st. So if anyone wants to hang out that day.. send me an e-mail.
Auroz wrote:

Where does it say there is a dress code? Can you post a link please? Thanks

I should say the last time I was there that was the dress code. They never posted it on the website, it's on a sign at the door (or at least used to be). Have not been there in a couple years.

http://www.vegas.com/nightclubs/voodoo/

Attire: Dress to impress. No hats, white t-shirts, tank tops, baggy pants, shorts, sandals, flip flops, white tennis shoes, athletic or gym wear of any type.

Dress to impress usually means exactly what I said in my above post. I just want to know if they are enforcing, might be good if someone at SOE can call them and check this out.

And the answer is in! "Whatever attendees want to wear is fine. The dress code will not be enforced during our event." Just make sure you wear something!
Sweet, I hate the stupid dress codes for clubs here. Main reason I don't go out to them anymore. It's too hot to wear slacks and a collar shirt all the time....

Well, be glad that Jadestalker isn't going to Fan Faire, he's notorious on our server for stealing people's pants

I just looked at the site and the clock seems to be counting down to 4pm wednesday. Shouldn't it be counting to thursday?
