Not sure if this helps but: To make an international call from Britain, dial the international access code (00), then the country code, then the area code, and finally the local number. Or call through one of the following long-distance access codes: AT&T USA Direct (tel. 0800/890-011), Canada Direct (tel. 0800/890-016), Australia (tel. 0800/890-061), and New Zealand (tel. 0800/890-064). Common country codes are: USA and Canada, 1; Australia, 61; New Zealand, 64; South Africa, 27. Good luck

Or, if you're using a mobile phone, hold the button with the + sign on it. Usually this is the 0. + is replaced by the international access code (Which is different in some countries).

From the Rio Knowledge base...

You must be at least 21 years of age to make reservations for the hotel. The minimum age to gamble or drink alcoholic beverages is 21. Minors are not allowed to stand next to slot machines or table games, but they may walk through the casino.

I think that's standard for any hotel in Vegas that has a casino attached. You're going to need to look for a non-casino hotel nearby (Motel 6, Comfort Inn, Marriott properties etc. Or you need to find an older friend that will take your room under his/her name.

Don't quote me on this, but my guess is that 21 will be the age that most casino/hotel combos will require. The earlier suggestion of a non-casino hotel should probably work though.

Hi Havocide,

I responded to your PM, but just in case you didn't get it here is what I found out from the folks on Tripadvisor.com. They spend their lives planning trips to Vegas and going there ALL the time so I do trust their answers.

Their reply was this: Tropicana, Luxor, or Riviera as they allow 18 and up to go. Also try the Gold Coast which is right across from the Rio, but they might have changed the policy on this hotel so give them a ring first. Prices are cheaper too. I hope this helps.

Gold Coast did say 21 aswell. Im waiting on Raijinn, to get back to me. He said hes gonna speak with the coordinator or something. *shrugs*

Let me have a talk with my Mother in Law. She works marketing for Harrah's Entertainment. I'll see if I can get a direct answer from here when she comes over today.

I think the 21 rule has to do with Mini-Bars. But I will find out.

Yes the age is restricted to 21 and older. However, if you have already booked the room and they have taken any money for it they have to give you the room.

Not true, they can turn you away. They take ID.

I've got a Guildmate who's interested in sharing a room. He's a college student over 21. Maybe you can stay together. I've PM'd you his email.
