Its looking like there will be at least 10 members of my guild going to Fan Faire this year. I read in the past that there was a discount if more than six members of your guild went. Will that be in effect for this Fan Faire and if so, how do you go about signing up for that? Thanks in advance.. <p>That is all still up in the air.  I can say that as a prospective Fan Faire attendee, I am not very happy with how slowly this information is coming from SOE.  They expect us to commit almost $1000 to attend between airline and hotel reservations and don't have ANY registration, vendor, or any other information posted yet.</p><p>Fan Faire is less than 4 months away and I honestly thought SOE would have the event all planned.</p>

<p>Now that the discounted price for 10 or more Guild Members going has been released. How exactly will that work? Do you get reimbursed after Fanfaire?</p>

$1,000? Wow, I'm flying from Michigan and staying in a hotel for only $605 total.. Two words.. Gold Coast.. Its right across the street from The Rio and is half the price of The Rio with their reduced prices.

Question about guild registration...in the info it said 10 or more members get a discount on the registration and a reserved table.  But in the schedule under the buffet dinner it says that guilds of 6 or more get a reserved table.  Is one of them a misprint, or is it that 6-9 members get a reserved table only and 10 or more get the reserved table and the discount?

Question regarding what constitutes "guild registration." Here's my dilemma. The guild I am a member of died a long time ago. The reason I haven't joined another is becuase my home is my alliance, the Planar Campaign. I raid with them, group with them, progress with them, hang with them, etc. Could we register as an alliance and receive the same rate? I realize we're not a guild using the in-game mechanics, but we're a very tight-knit group and I'd like to come as such. If the problem is verification that we're members, it shouldn't be entirely hard to arrange that.

<p>Each member of a guild with 10 or more registrants will receive a 50% refund at the close of pre-registration (so approximately 2 weeks before the start of Fan Faire).</p><p>The "Guilds with 6 or more" language in the schedule is a typo.  We'll have that fixed shortly.  Sorry for the confusion...  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Any chance of getting the question regarding guild/alliance answered?

A few questions 1) Any information on if Alliances are going to be allowed the same sort of Deal as the Guilds are? 2) Are we allowed to choose which toon gets the ingame item the same way as the Expansion or Beta items are allowed? 3) If the answer to 1 is no then when does the program run to check if people are in the guild together? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<cite>VorAbaddon wrote:</cite><blockquote>Any chance of getting the question regarding guild/alliance answered? </blockquote> This would work if you all entered your alliance name instead of your guild name when you registered.

<p>When you register a guest coming with you, will that count towards your 10 people for the Guild Discount?</p>

Anyone know if the discount would apply to a guild that has players in 3 of SOE's games?  My guild has chapters in EQLive, EQ2 and Vanguard.  We have ppl that are interested in coming, but each only play one of SOE's games, but are all in the same guild (Same name in all 3 games).  Was just wondering how we could go about registering as the same guild for the discount etc... any help would be great, thanks!

<b>Arrinya</b> - I believe that the guest would not count as he/she isn't in the guild. But don't quote me on that. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>Since this is a guild related question:</p><p> My guild ranges over the 3 diffferent games (EQ, EQ2 and Vanguard)</p><p>Should we all sign up under the same game? Or is just the guild name good enough?</p>

Is the guild registration automatic?  I know when you sign up, you can put your guild in the form.. so does this mean SOE is automatically assigning us tables/discounts once we reach 10, or do we have to do a separate guild registration in addition to the personal registrations?

Starting to get a little nerve racking with it getting close and no confermation one way or another. As a precaution I sent an e-mail to the fanfair regristaion to have mine changed from <span style="color: #000000">EQ1(</span><a href="https://secure.station.sony.com/fanfaire/LoadAttendees.m?selectedServer=Luclin (Veeshan)" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: #000000">Luclin (Veeshan)</span></a><span style="color: #000000">) to EQ2(befallen) and </span>recieved no confermation back from them either. Overall little un-nerved about the uncertinty atm.

<p>Got my question answered on how they are going to credit back the 50% to guilds that have more than 10 folks...just wondering, since it mentions "pre-registration" as being the cutoff...when does pre-registration end so we can makr sure we get everyone in before that deadline?</p>

Machail

In another thread it was said that pre-registration will end a week or two before the fan faire.

<p>Across Games guild registrations has been approved.  If your guild is in more then one game you will receive the discount if 10 or more are attending.  Better hurry time is running out!  We apologize that this decision didn't come in sooner.</p>

Does Capitalization count? We have 10 people but some spelled 'of' with a capital O. And will we be able to find out before Fan Faire whether we got the table so that we can inquire as to why we didn't in the event that we don't?

My guild is up to at least 15 people pre-registered.  Will we have at least 2 tables reserved?

Out of curiosity, If a guild has 10 or more AFTER fan faire starts, we now have 3-5 more that are sounding like they can make it, do you still get a table for the banquet?  I know the discount is sadly out of the running but wondering about the table.
