This is my first fan faire and I am really excited about going. If I fly in thursday night, will I be missing any events? Or would it be better to come in wednesday? Any info you vets can provide would be great. Is the big shiny pass worth getting? Clix

Ok, I typed in my post and it didn't post.......grrrr. This is my first fan faire, I am planning on flying in thursday afternoon. My question is...... Will I be missing events on thursday, or do the activities start on friday? Any info you vets can provide would be great. Is the big shiny pass worth the price? Thanks in advance. Clix

At this point all of that is up in the air. However if we go from past Fan faires Wednesdays are usually just pre-registration and hanging out. Generally we don't have events on Wednesdays. Thursdays are when the fun starts..... Right now however all of that hasn't been planned yet.

I can't tell you what to do, but I can tell you what I do. I used to come on Thursday, but I started to miss things, and lots of my friends started arriving on Wednesday. So now I come on Wednesday and don't regret it at all. Besides, an extra day in Las Vegas can't be a bad thing, right?

I haven't seen the schedule yet, so I don't know if any official events start on Thursday, but judging from past Fan Faires, there will at least be registration and the SOE Store open.

I'm actually getting there tuesday myself, because... it's vegas =D Though i am flying out mid morning sunday instead of taking a red-eye home, i couldnt get the following monday off, so gota fly back earlier.

Typically wed is early registration and jsut people hanging out, and there has never before been any planned events on the sunday other than picking up banners won in auction.

This will be my 5th fan faire and we've always come on Friday and left on Sunday and I've never felt like we've missed much, but this year we will be getting there on Tuesday so we'll get to see what we've been missing all these times.
