Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) being supported for Fan Faire for 2007?

Subject says it all. Can we get official confirmation that this year SWG will be supported?  Last year it wasn't and despite some discussion saying that it is going to be included, there is now SWG forum area like there are for the supported games.

<p>SWG (or MxO for that matter) will not be "supported" per se. </p><p> LucasArts owns the right to fan faire type events for SWG (Warner Borthers Interactive for MxO). There will be members of the team present for SWG (i.e. TH/Pex/etc). Not sure if any developers will be present though. </p><p> I have heard murmers of a possible "Community Summit" during the Fan Faire in '07 like they did at the Atlanta one. However nothing on that one has been confirmed. But unless they could get the green light from LA, then the answer would be no for official fan faire support.</p>

We are working with Lucas Arts and Warner Brothers in hopes that we can include SWG and MxO in the next Fan Faire.  There aren't any guarantees that this will happen however.  We do know that there will most likely be Devs from those products at the Fan Faire.  And the Community team from those projects will be there. So you will be able to meet Thunderheart, Walrus, GarVa, Virrago etc <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Now that it is confirmed that SWG will be supported can we get some info on what will be going down? Will there be a community summit? Will the Devs be there? What SWG related events can I look forward to? Same question for Vanguard..... I'm really only coming for SWG and VG but I know this is mostly EQ people attending I just want to make sure there will something for me to look forward to. Thanks!

Thanks! </blockquote><p>There will most likely be a Summit but it won't be Game Specific...  There will be Developers there.  As for Events the only confirmed things I  know of is a Live Quest and Panels.  I am sure there will be tons more stuff but nothing is confirmed yet.</p>

Yeah that is a shame. I was really looking forward to meeting Thunderheart...... especially after our back and forth: "GO SABRES!" chants. I hope we get more details soon on the events for SWG (and vanguard).
