Sorry I had to create a new topic but I could not just add a reply to the poll section for some reason (and yes I was logged in). Please feel free to move this to page nine of the poll section of whatever page it is by the time you move it. I see a lot of people getting weird on the voting again /sigh.

Yesterday I found out there was a new poll and I immediately made a NEW hot button telling everyone in /shout to go vote and that it ended on the 25th. I use my druid and port to different zones and hit that hot button. I get many tells asking the choices and then they say they did not even know there was a poll! /sigh Is right there as you log in for goodness sakes <giggles>

Anyway, I am pleased to see the players going to vote. See you all at Fan faire no matter where it is. We love all the different locations and more importantly love seeing our friends and making new ones.

Actually it is my belief and several others who have been PMing each other that only a handfull of people have been voting lately and it's pretty much been a total fiasco...There are at least 3 ways to vote multiple times and one of them can be done very very fast voting hundreds of times in just a few minutes...thats why you see the vote totals higher now than the entire total of the first poll, which was ALSO exploited. There isn't a fair way to have an online poll to select this location....someone will always find a way to cheat...which means your vote probably doesn't mean a thing...

I think this is totally rigged. 4 days before the voting was due to end, Denver and Vegas were ONE VOTE APART. Its obvious that SOE prefers to keep their Fan Faire closer to their home base to make it easier on them in shipping everything needed for the Fan Faire, and stuffs the vote box at the end of this.. I've been to the last 2 Fan Faires. You'll never see me go to Vegas for one. In fact, this whole thing has soured me from playing Everquest.

Enjoy Vegas AGAIN, everyone...how many times have you been to Vegas for a Fan Faire???? And oh, yeah, like I really feel like baking in the Vegas heat in June. The majority of us EQ players are tipping the scales at 250-300 lbs. Make sure theres some cardio care equipment with ya. I predict many heart attacks.

OH get real...What are you, 13? the poll isn't going to be used apparently. it looks like someone exploited it or something went wrong with their web page.... And I have been to 6 Fan Faires and no, MOST of the players don't weigh nearly as much as you say...MOST of the players are super scrawny highschool and college kids who would rather play online games than eat...Yeah, the Fan Faire has been held in Vegas a few other times and for good reason...IT"S LESS EXPENSIVE so more people attend and SOE gets the most for their money...That's the problem with a lot of young kiddy players you don't understand that EQ and ALL SOE games are a BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY....they aren't there for your entertainment alone...If SOE can't make a profite then your precious game go bye bye....So yes, it's cheaper for SOE to hold the Fan Faire closer to San Diego, BUT they try to balance it out by moving the Fan Faire around a bit...I don't understand what they were thinking when they decided to put Denver in MARCH on the list in the first place...I don't think they thought what would happen if there happened to be a big winter storm somewhere in the country that weekend...My guess would be since they all live in Sunny San Diego it didn't cross their minds...Can't blame them, but now that they have another chance I hope they put that into the equation...AT the VERY least move the Denver date into the SPRING...then Denver might stand a chance at winning....

If you are having posting problems, you need to send Ashlanne a message, I had a similar issue, and she got it all fixed for me
