Ash,As an assassin, I will have no use for the shield. Is there ANY way you can tell the developers to make it mountable so we can place it in our home as a display? Otherwise, I would have received an item that I will never use because I am a dual weilder.

First with the EQoA Live event which started on time and was actually quite fun. As one of the winners for that event, I was handed a slip of paper with an email on it and told sorry the person who should have brought the Best Buy Gift Cretificates did not. I was a tad concerned but on Monday in my inbox was a message from her asking for my address and info. No waiting and wondering and my concerns were gone. So to Lydia I want to say thanks for a great event (my guild that participated def had fun!!!) and also thanks for the speedy response directly after Fan Faire ended.

Yes dear, but remember, the event left a bad taste in a lot peoples mouths because of the lack of planning. From the Take to the Sky event, to the table tents not on the tables (which is what we paid for as a guild), to the in-game items, to running the costume contest early, and lack of EQ2 recognition; while some parts were alot of fun, the event didnt go as planned. I am not sure when the Take to the Sky item will be in game, that was a last minute idea from Brenlo, who hasnt bothered to post in over a month. Even he looked terribly unhappy the last day of the event.And the fact the in-game item was on the website for 2 months gave them enough time to have it ready as soon as we got home.Im not so much as complaining as stating that as a customer, I entered into a contract with SOE when I purchased my ticket. They have not fullfilled their end of the contract, and hense, are in breech of it. I would also like my upgrade refunded as stated by Jenabel in previous posts. Yes we hung out with devs, But as Denuve did point out and I def agree they made the deal about the item so well they need to live up to it. Personaly I feel sorry for Ash as Ash is the only one even responding here and trying. Note the silence from all other GM's and CSR's. Sorry but not having an item ready, they knew of well in advance is just more poor planning and Honestly I think if someone just said Sorry we dropped the ball on this as well, I would be fine with it.

I only post here to see if anyone has heard any updates or gotten an e-mail.  You see I am scared my Anti-spam system will delete it before I see it.  Also the entire reason to pre-register was to get the item.  otherwise we could have all waited until we got there to pay.  SoI feel we all have a valid reason to be a little upset... and lack of EQ2 recognition?????I am sorry, but as an EQ1 player, I saw more things going on for EQ2...____________________________________________ ____________________________Yep, thats why our event winner got a TV, in game titles, and the like...not. I took pictures of all the items won at the FF prior to them going out. Most of them went to EQPC. EQ2 got nothing for the event and only 1 group won the live quest. The EQPC people won all sorts of things for 1st, 2nd and 3rd on their event, and the top 3 groups for the live quest won items.Im not angry, just dissapointed. The last FF I went to was so tightly organized, and so many things to do, from Nvida to the name game, to the home everquest videos. I won nothing then, but nothing was promised to me as well. Vannoth could put on a show, and did it well. I truely enjoyed the eq videos in Chicago, which was just plain horrible this time. Canned trailers? C'mon, lol. All they had to do was check their own forums and start downloading videos to show. How hard would that have been?Breech of contract, due to non-refunded funds expressly promised due post event, items not received after payment promised due post event, and onsite table not reserved prior to entrance into the hall. All of which promised as part of payment in full and/or with 5 other guildmates in attendance pre-registered.Im done posting.Take care,Den

As for the In-Game items One being Pre-reg, the other being for the canceled EQ2 tourment "Take to the Sky". Ya its been awhile after fan faire. Point Being we all came there on a plan to meet other and have fun. I will agree thou it is a bit buggy for this to take this long, But I belive it will be worth the wait. And for all that are upset about the things going wrong I feel ya. As a 1st timer I was really looking forward to the tourment. But I didn't let it ruin my time I had there. I just hoping that the items when they do come in are worth the wait and not some oh crap people are getting testty we need to give them something and it is something completely useless. Let all take a deep breath and remember what we went there for. To have a good time and enjoy meeting fellow players. My hats off to Ash thou for all your work in trying to figure out whats going on and keep the mob at bay. Once again I urge if we want to get a good item we should not rush, But I do agree it should have been planed out in advance they know it was coming. But count it as a over look and one more of those dang little bugs thats come around after a patch in game. Still waiting here like a bird in the wilderness waiting for mamma bird to come. Check your inventory when you are online. I didn't get any type of email but when I opened my bag it had a "Mug of the Endless Fan Faire" inside. It is a clicky item that AE summons stout drink for all those around you. Begining to worry here. Any word on EQ2 items. :smileyindifferent: got seven days, and it will be a month after Fan Faire, and still no word for EQ2 in-game item for Pre-Reg , or the item for the cancelled "Take to the Sky" Tournament. I have to say it, I am now getting pretty bumed out over this. Still waiting thou. All Ghummy want is to open bags, and find something small showing he had a good time at FF. Despite the set backs and gliches. Guild thinking Ghummy went crazy when he dumps all his bags out and starts looking for a godly give item. Guild Boss just walk over and tell Ghummy it ok just pack my storng boxes up, and start to kill small helpless creaters. Yet Ghummy sware god's told him he get something for going to a place called Atlanta Ghummy could not explain what he saw to his fellow guildies Atlanta is not any Norrath map. Guildy think Ghummy losing it. Ghummy not crazy thou. Little slow on the Wisdom, and Intellagnce, But not make Ghummy crazy. /sigh /sad.

I am making this clear this is for the EQII items. We have not, yet seen items for pre-reg, or for the cancaled "Take to the Sky" thingy. Just have to wait a see now if I get E-mail on it this week. Or they get attached to a toon someplace in my inventory.  Witch I hope I get to decide witch toon they go to. I would rather pick the toon for say if we get some kind of " Mug of Everlasting Fan Faire" I would prefer PvE toon then say, my PvP toon witch is what I regiestered under. Not going to go get my screen all fuzz and have to watch my back for Gankers and all. I rather enjoy a item like that on PvE. just my thoughts on that. But I still have no idea what the items are so its a waiting game to see what Eq2 players will recive for both items. I get ot chosse where it goes on Eq2 to one char thou I chould be wrong hope not.  the word claim keys this for me I can type in /claim and chosse witch toon gets item. </span></p>

I quite like everquest 2. It's a shame to see the game ever so slowly dying as the population steadily drops and the in game market becomes stagnant. I really hope the adventure pack and expansion bring some people back so that i can get a group every now and again.Designers are busy i expect with these new packs in the pipeline. None the less, the free item issue is beyond a joke. Yes, there has been easter and yeah, that was a fine patch you brought out. Whats more, the expansion site is very slick looking. But those of us stupid enough to go to your fan faire and watch our fellow players be ridiculed by devs in the forums would like our item.Love the game, but the attitude you guys present...

I sincerely hope it is through the claim system.I was advised here that the only thing that would affect what character I was registered as would be what was printed on my name tag. The character that is on my name tag, however, is ~not~ the character I want to have the item.
