I am trying to plan for my trip ie: money needed etc. Since I am a Fan Faire virgin I have no idea what to expect. Are the events like the brunch and the banquet and off site party included in the cost of the pass or are there cover charges and drink and food costs? I know to plan for any sight seeing and auction purchases I may make. I just want to make sure I am prepared.

Hello. If you register for the Classic Pass ($125), your admission to the offsite party is included (if you are at least 21 years of age). At the party, we'll have an open bar for 3 hours, then it turns into an unhosted cash bar. Also, we'll be serving appetizers at the Friday reception (cocktails are not hosted by SOE but are available for purchase) and a buffet banquet dinner on Saturday evening (again, cocktails are not hosted but are available for purchase). There will be no cover charges associated with any of these events.

Brunch with the Development team is provided if you register for the Gold Pass ($155). It will not be available with any of the other registration options.

Hope this helps!

That actually helps alot. I do have one more question though - when is the last day for the 6th guild member to sign up to receive the upgraded pass? Our guild has 5 members so far and we all signed up for the classic pass thinking there would be 6. If we find out there isn't going to be a 6th person when would be the last day we could upgrade our pass to gold? Exactly how would we upgrade our pass? Thanks again.

The last day for the 6th guild member to register would be March 24th. That is also the last day to upgrade your pass online if the 6th doesn't register. To do that, you'd have to cancel your existing registration and re-register for the Gold pass. Or, you can upgrade onsite at the walk-in registration desk (but that might involve waiting in line, so it's better to do it in advance online).

Hi, this is my first Fan Faire. It is 10 days away and there are still at least 8 places in the schedule where it says "to be announced." I don't mean to be grumpy or anything, but I plan conferences for a living, and it seems awfully close to the event with still so many things "to be announced." I would like to know what I have regsitered for. Will the on-line schedule be confirmed and posted SOON? Thanks!
