<div>I'm curious about alternate hotels that other Everquest/Everquest 2 players may have already booked. </div><div> </div><div> </div>

Because I'm staying some extra time after the FF, I booked some additional nights at the "Residence Inn Atlanta Downtown". $179/night, and not that far from the FF hotel either (FF hotel was also booked up solid for the days AFTER FF). Only a couple of blocks away. Not ideal, but could work if you couldn't get in the main hotel. Also try Google Local. They had quite a number of hotels, and you can see them all on the map when searching.

<div></div><div>We've booked a two-bedroom suite at the Holiday Inn Express. It's in Buckhead which is a bit of a distance but there is a Marta station next to the Holiday Inn and one close to the FanFaire, We got the suite for only $149 a night. With 4 of us attending we decided it would be much more comfortable and cost efficient.</div>

<div></div>Has SOE blocked any additional rooms at an alternate hotel? I was only able to get a room at the Marquis for Friday and Saturday they are completely booked solid and had no room on thursday at any rate and I already have a plane ticket to arrive on Thursday.

<div></div><div>i have been emailing back and forth with <a target="_blank" href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a></div><div> </div><div>and this was the last responce i got back on firday</div><div> </div><div><span>I just heard back from our travel rep. I heard the nearby Hyatt has rooms available for $145. We aren’t going to have a block there but I think you can get a room there for the first night and then move over to the Marriott for the remainder of your stay. Let me know if you have any trouble reserving rooms there. I booked through Expedia.com. I'm staying at the Days Inn in Norcross. I have a guildie who lives there, and I'm renting a car. So I'll be able to get around without too many problems, long as I have a map. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<div></div><p>I've booked two rooms at the Courtyard Atlanta Buckhead -- <a target="_blank" href="http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/ATLCB">http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/ATLCB</a></p><p>It's about 4 miles from the event, has *free* highspeed internet and they had rooms available last week when I added the 2nd room.  If you have AAA or another discount program (like government rates) you can get the room for about $115, but the normal cost is $179 / night.</p>
