I say lets take him to stone mountain, tell him his gift is at the top of the mountain and inform him that the sky buckets are broken. If you've ever climbed stone mountain before you know how much of a gift this is. Especially during april in georgia.

Mmmm I wonder if removing his coffee supply will keep him out of this thread....Maybe a Brenlo treasure hunt? Make him run around figuring out clues to find presents /grin. And have pie stations

This idea would apply to more than just Brenlo, but you could consider setting up a Charity Dunk Tank (eg. Red Cross).

Once Brenlo has several dozen birthday dunks ($2 per ball, one dunk per year?), perhaps he could MC the event, introducing various dev's from each game one at a time, maybe mentioning nerfs each one might have been responsible for, etc to help rile up the crowd, sell some t-shirts on the side, etc....

At the banquet, I would recommend a birthday pie, instead of a traditional birthday cake.

Of course, on the other end of the spectrum, you could give him the day off

Message Edited by Naladini on 09-22-2005 10:50 PM

Stone Mountain? Sounds like the perfect place to hold a Halfling High Dive GM event. Brenlo goes first.

I think we've always wanted to have a dunk tank at Fan Faire, if I remember correctly it was something the hotels we've been too not allowing them...

A pie is a great idea, thanks Naladini!

lol, yeah, I guess that would have the potential to mess up the carpets a bit.

One nice idea for a birthday surprise would be a typo on his travel arrangements, I hear Aruba is a bit nicer than Atlanta.

I say we dress him up in leather and take him out to a fetish night somewhere. Those used to be great fun when I lived in Atlanta. Trust me, he'll never forget it.

Why couldn't we have the Meet and Greet Party (the first night) out by the pool with a dunk tank there?? Most hotels don't mind closing the pool area for special parties. Everyone could bring super shooters (filled with tequilla or water) and have a blast! We'd probably have to hire a life guard or 2 but they shouldn't cost all that much.

Tempting Fait Barb Warrior of Free Agents on Drinal
