Special Hilton Rates ended May 18 ?? ...confused

<DIV>I attempted to make my reservations at the Hilton for the Fan Faire using the SPECIAL rate of $125 a nite and was informed that they no longer is available as of May 18th, BUT there were still rooms available on Friday and Saturday (not Thursday) for the fanfaire.  Kinda makes it inconvienant to REGISTER (already done), book your flight (non-refundable and done) then call for one of these *Special Rated Rooms and the registration desk say it is no longer available.  How are you gonna get people to REGISTER for this fanfaire when you cant provide a block of rooms for them to stay in??</DIV>

:smileyvery-happy: Good News is that the rooms that were not available are now available *while supplies last.

The Hilton has sold out of rooms on Thursday, June 9th, but still has rooms open for Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th.  They will extend the special group rate for these nights as long as they have rooms left.

Check out the rooms across the street at the Sahara. I've heard that their rate is even cheaper than the Hilton's Special Rate.

I'm staying at Circus Circus, cheapest I could find on that side of the strip.Not that I particularly like Circus Circus, mind you, but it's close to the Hilton.
