I keep loosing my target and it's really starting to become a show stopper for me.

I decided this is what's happening (but I could be wrong).

I've stacked my hotbars 3-4 level deeps one on top of the other such that cast bar 2&3 are sitting where the cast progress bar is. when there is no cast in progress, if I click there I get what I want but if there is already a cast in progress, I think it's loosing target when I click where the progress bar is and get the progress bar and not the underlayed hotbar.

I've noticed a similar problem with the status window, like when you harest something, if there is a window below the status and I'm trying to click through the displayed status, I can't click, until the status has gone away.

SO... how do I fix this? you can't target the cast progress bar unless your casting ... anyway, I think I just need it out of the way but maybe someone else knows a better solution?

Cast something that takes a long time (and map it to a hotkey so you can repeat it if you need to) and hit f10 and just move the progress bar to a better spot.

You can also make the progress bar click through (I thought that was the default setting but I could be mistaken).

It's really best not to overlap windows, or you are going to get weird behaviors.

thanks for the help, I had logged off because I was mad about the loss of target and decided to post. it was very simple fix, just harvest something and move it out of the way, then lock it in the new place.

Sadly F10 doesn't give you things like the casting bar or breath bar, you have to actually use them to see them and hence, move them. And yes, harvesting with no tools is the best bet for the casting bar.
